Lakeland has been taking care of all my vehicles for over 7 years. They are extremely knowledgeable and experienced mechanics. Fast service, and very honest and fair. I have asked them to replace a hub, they tested it, and found that it just needed a little maintenance and not replacement even though they could have made a lot more money and saved themselves some time by just replacing it. They have always looked out for my best interest and never try to make extra money off of me.

They found the issue with the engine light, ordered the part and repaired it. I didn't have to come back another day. I am sure their cost was less than going to a dealership that wanted me to make two appointments and have to wait 2 weeks or more to repair it.

A small family shop that was very personable and friendly. I needed an inspection in a limited time frame and they were kind enough to work me in. They also have experience with rotary engines, which is a huge bonus in my book!

I took my car in for a vehicle inspection, tire rotation, and oil change. At 9AM they call me back and say the front end need an alignment, so I say go ahead I knew it needed it anyway.I go to pick up my car at 4:30 and it won't start, they left the headlights on all day and killed my battery. They refused to take responsibility and tried to blame it on having to keep the brakes pressed down during the alignment, then when I questioned them on it they tried to tell me they just pulled my car up and the lights couldn't have been on for more than 10 minutes. A total lie, the battery was DEAD with the headlight knob CLEARLY left in the on position and the warning alarm blaring.So they jump started my car and told me to drive around to charge the battery up. They made no attempt to fully charge my battery and never even apologized. After two days of trying to charge my battery it turns out they damaged a cell in my battery by leaving the lights on and it would no longer hold more than 10 volts. Ended up costing me another $330 for a new battery and installation at a different shop.This place came highly recommended from a friend, I wouldn't recommend them to my worst friend. I could have lived with them admitting they made a mistake and apologizing, but denying and lying about it is a pretty terrible business practice.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Decided to try them out for an inspection. They thought there was an extra issue with one of my tires and quoted me for more initially, but upon removing the tire, they decided it didn't need what they initially planned to do. They could've easily charged me for the job and made the money, but they were completely up front and honest. I plan on going back for any future work I need done from now on. Very kind folks! Was told it would take two hours to replace two wheel studs in ram 2500. I one armed man could probably do it in 25 minutes. No thanks

My husband is military and we came to Syracuse from South Carolina, our car started having issues. We luckily came across Lakeland Auto, we were on a time crunch. They were booked up, but they were so nice and helpful, they fit us in and really helped us out with our vehicle. They are a very trust worthy small business and I would recommend them to everyone. What great people, we were very blessed and fortunate to stumble across them. Do yourself a favor and go to Lakeland auto repair for your car needs!
