Racist. I have no melanin to my skin, but have 6 BEAUTIFUL MIXED daughters with the same beautiful black man I have been with 16 years. You could cut the tension with a knife when me and my homegirl walked in there.. all because of our skin not being dark enough for them? In particular, the doorman seemed annoyed with us when we walked in.. rude.. got to the bar and stood there a good 5 minutes, whilst being stared at "secretly" but I can see out of my peripheral vision that it was boldly obvious. Bartenders ignored us. Didnt acknowledge us at the bar. For SEVERAL minutes. Kept their backs to us, what seemed to be deliberate. I went to use the ladies room, friend came with, we decided, yes we just each paid ten dollars to get in, stand at the bar, and leave. I dared not ask for my money back, I just chalked it off as a loss, and will NEVER spend another dollar supporting this business again. I am so disgusted at this behavior with the doorman, and the bartenders. Horrible way to treat patrons who want to go out, live sheltered lives and want a fun ONE NIGHT OUT AWAY FROM THIS CRAPPY SITUATION IN ALL OUR LIVES RIGHT NOW WITH COVID-19! NOBODY HAD A MASK ON, only the doorman, and my friend and I. I am so disappointed, the one place I thought I could go, and be in the setting I am extremely comfortable with, and familiar with when it comes to music, and PEOPLE... it was just... awful. And.. I didnt even want to rate it ONE star.
