I've been taking my pup to Town and Country for 8 years. I really like Dr Dodd. However, this last visit to the Dr was very bad. I had an issue with a sore on my pup's back. I wanted the Dr to look at it. I was told the only Dr to see me would be the female in the group. Ok. Fine. My appointment was at 10:45. I was there at 10:30 and called into them as soon as I got there and I only got a message to call back. I called several times and finally got through to them. I was told they'd be out shortly to get my dog. (They're still not letting people in with their pets). After watching several people come and go with their pets, I said, "I've been here for an hour and you're taking everyone ahead of me" only to be told that EVERYONE had a 10:45 appointment and they take the pets who called in first. I told her I called several times and was told to call back. "Well, I'm only one person, I can't take every call at the same time".I was very displeased and irritated. I left the office and scheduled with Stack Vet Hospital up the street. They'll even let you come in with your pet.So, no. I would not recommend Town and Country.

We LOVE Town & Country. We took our dogs there for 4 years when we lived nearby. Luckily a few neighbors told us about them. They’re old school - no computers, no fancy procedures. Just two vets and a team that cares. What we love about them is that they don’t push unnecessary procedures or expenses. They don’t get worked up about things that animals do (eat grass / poop, have random growths or skin rashes that come and go, etc). They just assure you that it’s normal and give you options. With our one dog, the doc gave us a prescription for anxiety meds, but suggested we try a supplement we can get on Amazon first. It helped. The same dog also had a weird growth. The dog said monitor it and gave us a written quote to remove it, but as he said, it went away on its own. They are so honest and the prices are great. We just moved out of state, and I’m sad to be leaving this vet.

I brought my 9 yo cat in because she suddenly started hiding and stopped eating / drinking/ using the bathroom. They got her right in within 2 hours of calling and called me 5 mins after taking her in to let me know she was stressed because of the kittens we adopted several months ago. I was skeptical (she never refuses food) until I did exactly what the doctor told me to do and she’s got her spark back. They didn’t run a million tests like the emergency vet would have which prevented even more stress for my girl. This is the happiest she’s been in a while and I can’t thank Town & Country enough for helping me improve her life when I thought something was seriously wrong physically. Thank you!

This hospital has gone downhill since Dodge stopped working his wife and daughter have taken over the practice and the team that they have their is horrible yesterday I took my pregnant dog there that had been in labor for almost 24 hours the lady on the phone was nothing but rude and disrespectful they refused to come out and look at my dog to see what going on they basically sentenced my dog to death and the lady on the phone made the comment I shouldn't breed dogs if I couldn't deal with the consequences I was there to get help for my dog and she refused another occasion my friend called up and the lady on the phone which was a receptionist told her the dog had anxiety and that was what was going on the dog died a few hours later they misdiagnosed my sister's dog who died three days after they told her the dog had a UTI home on medication I believe the receptionist on the phone who took my call yesterday owes me an apology and so does that vet hospital for how I was treated and what was said however I did find another vet to look at my dog he gave her a shot of pitocin and she pushed her babies out just fine her and her four little babies are doing great no thanks to Town & Country Vet Hospital Hospital I will no longer recommend them to anyone it is like sentencing your dog to doggie death row I have never been more disappointed or disgusted at this place their motto is they put animals first while obviously not give the the fact of what I experienced yesterday you were supposed to put the well-being of the animal first no matter how you feel about the situation shame on you shame on you

Always reasonable. They are booked out pretty far but will always try to get your pet in if there is an emergency.

I have been taking my dogs and cats here for over 20 years, and have always had an incredible experience. The staff are kind and helpful and the services are super affordable. I would highly recommend them to anyone in search of a local vet.

We had to put our dog down, she was there the whole.time loving and talking to my baby girl as if she was hers. Although the hardest thing I've done in a while she made it feel more peaceful l. Thank you for so much compassion

When they actually see my cats they are nice however, unprofessionally unorganized. I have came by 5 different times to neuter two of my babies, just for them to tell me they each needed something different before getting neutered. Now I understand vaccination happens and is needed but one would appreciate the information before the actual appointment. Otherwise it is a blank trip, I say that because first time they couldn’t get neutered because they needed a vaccine, second time they needed registrations of some sort, 3rd time a new vaccine, and when I called the 4th time just to make sure nothing else is needed they misinformed me again just to find out they needed something else to get neutered. Not only do I have to wait an additional two months to get them back in but I asked to speak to a manager and she never called back or got on the phone. Worse place to recommend and never coming back again.

Jensen and Dodge need to retire. If you read comments on Indeed about working there, it will explain why. After 2 visits in 3 days and no call backs when expected, our dog was given insulin for diabetes after telling them that he hadn't eaten in 2 days. We didn't even know that was against the rules until we had to get diabetis info from the internet. They never gave us any paperwork on how to handle the disease. Had to put him down at emergency vet after a correct diagnosis. His family is heartbroken. Please beware of this place..

This place is great for all pet owners. They have been around for a long time and are very reasonable in price. One of the few places that treat small pets like rabbits and guinea pigs. The Vets are a Husband/Wife team which makes it all the more personal.

I will NEVER bring my pet here. I waited for over 1hour in my car outside and no one ever came out to get us. Yet other cars pulled in after me and they pets were brought in before us. When I called after 1hour of waiting to reschedule and voice my concerns, the receptionist told me if I didn't like it I could go elsewhere and hung up on me. VERY Unprofessional!! No one should be treated like this.

I love Dr. Dodge his daughter & staff. Definitely the best vet that truly cares about your pet. Had seen him over many years. Relocated. And wish I could have taken them with me . Definitely the best vet for your pets. ??
