“The most delicious and freshest sandwiches and soups in Syracuse! They pour so much love and energy into their business and their product. The owner and staff are super helpful. Highly recommend!!!”
“Probably one of the best farmers markets you will go to, at least in this area. Also, the flea market is awesome. If you want the best deals bring cash and dont be afraid to haggle. Also, there is a lot of parking as well. Even on the busiest days you can typically find a spot.”
“Not only the best market on the north side, it's the best of Syracuse!!! The owners & staff are great respectful people. I love the place, it's like my second home :-)”
“Soooo many different items, packed food, fresh pastry, cake, cold cuts...Ham is delicious. Kiev cake very good, must be even better just before cutting. Chocolate candy very tasty, intriguing...”

3512 Brewerton Rd, North Syracuse“BEST prices are at Aldis! Fact. Store shelves are looking empty at the moment. But the Erie Blvd store looks so much cleaner than this suburban location, which surprised me.
But the prices have gone down, service and employees are good. Customers are what's mostly cutting in front of you.
Ask where something is and employees are mostly helpful. So I shop here. Very clean parking lot.”
“The owner is very friendly,he will go above and beyond to help his customers great store to purchase cell phone plans, always manages to hook customers up with a great deal!”

3100 Court St, Syracuse“I've recently moved to the area and pass by this place every day. Every few times I've passed the place, I've thought about trying it out. Unfortunately, I always forgot about the place when the time came to choose where we want to eat at. One day, I wanted to try something new and ran across this place. Amazing reviews, a very impressive selection of food, and it's close by. I went to place the order and waited a very long time (which is my fault for wanting food from there during the time they are slammed). When I took my first bite, I was instantly hooked. It was probably the best meal I've had in this area. I've had to go back again and again. The prices are very reasonable for food that is this amazing. Additionally, for those who don't want to deal with the wait times, you can call it in for pickup. Anybody traveling or local must order food from here at least once. I highly recommend this place! Two things to note before trying this place though: the grill is only open during weekdays, and they are cash only. They have an ATM there with a small $2.75 surcharge (on top of whatever the bank charges) if you don't feel like pulling out cash elsewhere. The hassle is absolutely worth it.”

6111 S Salina St, Syracuse“It's an easy store to get around. Good selection of things you may need, but maybe not and not all grocery stores are the same. The shrimp is really good here and seafood options. Bargains or sale from time to time to sale off meats off faster just have to look.”
“What a cool health food store. Owen and Rebeca have all the answers to all your nutrition and supplement questions. Matt and Laura make special ordering a breeze. Alex, Erin, Jayson, and Tom offer the most incredible customer service. The king of bulk, Kelvin, is a dream to deal with whenever I need 50 lbs of oats!! Couldn’t ask for a better group of humans to make grocery shopping easier and somehow enjoyable. Oh yeah the smoothies are incredibly fresh and delicious. I recommend the Grateful Greens extra banana. GREEN PLANET GROCERY FOREVER!! 113 more years please:))”
“I finally visited Oasis!! I found all the Mediterranean foods and spices not found anywhere else! . The store is small, but densely stocked & nicely organized. It was easy to find things I was looking for & the staff (+clientele) are pleasant! The spice selection at Oasis is amazing and much more affordable than anywhere else I’ve been. It would have been easy to blow my budget because I wanted to buy EVERYTHING!! They even have various carved and embroidered maps of Palestine, Turkish coffee, pots and sets including my favorite Alameed Jordanian Coffee!! Tatreez adorned thobes and scarves and more! I found a variety of labneh (♥️♥️♥️) & halloumi cheeses!I live 30 miles/45 minutes away, so I’ve waited until being in town to check it out, but from now on, Oasis will be the main reason I visit Syracuse, vs an add-on activity!!Time to re-download my duolingo so I can more easily read some of the labels!Having many food allergies, it’s difficult to create a balanced varied menu plan, but having access to imported Mediterranean/Arab foods will make it much easier!!Can’t wait to go back and hopefully find Oud-wood incense!!”

“The best Aldi in town, I know it’s weird to think that some stores are better than others but it’s true, this is the only Aldi where most items are available and fresh.”

224 S Terry Rd, Syracuse“This place is an incredible establishment run by a wonderful family. I visit this store often and recommend that everyone stop here first before going to the big grocery store or big box store nearby.”
“Reminiscent of the old corner stores of yesteryear. Complete with creaky wood floors and super friendly staff. They sell only organic produce and natural foods, including bulk grains, beans and spices. They have a decent array of craft beers too. What brought me there is their participation in the New York State Double Up Food Bucks initiative. This is a program where SNAP recipients receive a dollar for dollar credit for fresh produce purchases, up to $20 a day.”
“The nicest corner store in my area. Stephen and Abdul are the best. They are truly very friendly. I highly recommend having the steak, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. They are delicious!Seriously folks, I absolutely love shopping and seeing these guy's. I'm greeted with warm smiles and pleasant greetings. Thank you so much and God bless. Thank you!”

“I recently had an event catered by the Jerusalem Market. There is only one word to describe it - outstanding! The folks were so friendly and helpful. Every culinary detail was taken care of and all I had to do was pick up the food, take it home and then greet my guests. Everyone agreed it was an excellent dinner. Actually, here comes one more word and that is - Delicious! Thank you Jerusalem Market!”

380 W Onondaga St, Syracuse“Ordinarily, I wouldn't think of eating at a place that looks like this from the outside, to be honest. But, I read a review on a FB food review page and decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, this place NEVER disappoints. I've only had the fried wings and wedges. Good Lawd! It's good they don't deliver. When my 94-year old mother from the South is with me, she gulfs down their *flats.* I try to resist, but can't. Lol. And the staff is ALWAYS friendly and welcoming. Try 'em. You'll see.”
“Not much more than your typical west side of Syracuse corner store other than a rather wide variety of snacks drinks and up-to-date miscellaneous merchandise such as knives Zippo lighters butane lighters t-shirts wife beaters fitteds”
“One of my favorite grocery stores. Really good quality products and good prices, plus they frequently put things on sale. I get a large portion of my groceries from here”
“I’m Jamaican and I’ve always wanted to try African food so I researched and came across this store and trust me when I say, I found EVERYTHING that I needed to make my fufu and soup. The store is small but it is very clean and well organized. I had trouble finding stuff because I’m not familiar with African product and what they looked like but…What I loved most was that the lady (wish I had her name) that was there today 8/30/2023 was very friendly and helpful. She was very patient and polite and she helped me find the stuff I needed. Great place to shop I’d go there again ❤️”
“since moving here from brooklyn, i have been going through bodega deli withdrawals - until i found this place! its really nice inside, all of the folks working there are super friendly, and the food was really good! i got a half cold sub ($5!!) and my boyfriend got the bacon cheeseburger which came with LTO & fries ($9). the prices are super reasonable and you still are getting a lot of food for your money - especially compared to many lunch places around downtown!! they also have a great selection of snacks, coffee/pastries, fruit etc. so glad i stopped by, and cant wait to be back!”

1055 W Genesee St, Syracuse“Store is very clean and easy to navigate with a great selection. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional and are always willing to answer questions. The only negative is the panhandlers at the front door and in the parking lot.”
“I had a great experience there. I heard of them through a friend and thought I'd check it out as I live in Liverpool and wanted to see something new I went in there and was greeted by a very friendly elderly man who helped me get a cart then instantly welcomed by the lovely women in front. While shopping the meats the butchers were very helpful with explaining the meat package plans and how they could be delivered or picked up and they even offer grocery deliveries. All in all was a very nice place definitely going to go again and highly recommend to others.”
“I appreciate having such a lovely coop in the community that promotes local suppliers. I know its hard work to balance customer needs and the needs of suppliers at the same time to benefit both! Thank you for doing the hard work!”
“Not a large store, smaller than Aldi. It was very crowded on Sunday but they have plenty of staff to stock shelves and keep the checkout short. Prices and product selections were very good, nice place to shop. cashiers are always friendly and helpful.”
