The Destiny USA location had great service in the shoe department. The shoe lead Jack was knowledgeable and really tried to make sure I got what I needed and wanted.

We bought an in-ground basketball hoop from Dick’s over a month ago and requested installation. They took my info and said they would call me the next business day. They never did. When I called the store, they had no record of our request and told me I had to come back into the store to set it up. Six weeks later, and we still have no hoop set up in our driveway. Very disappointing.

Horrible customer service. They cancelled my daughters order without even notifying us prior that they would not be able to fill it we had to call multiple times to find out what was going on. Once I spoke with someone I had to be transferred to a corporate supervisor to request the hold on my funds be removed. I called agin tonight and got a woman name Jakarra who was pound and frankly rude. She was unprofessional and kept cutting me off while I was speaking. I requested to speak to someone else and she acted like she was unable to transfer me. My money is still pending and the matter is still unresolved. I would like to receive my money ASAP!

I bought a bike here May 30th 2020. Customer service was wonderful. They kept the bike for about an hour and a half to “service it” which you would think would consist of making sure all of the bolts were tightened properly. Haha. Boy was I wrong. Tell me why as I’m going down a hill on onondaga lake parkway, the handle bars come loose and i go to hit the brake and they are super loose and barely push me to a stop. I could have been hurt severely. I bought it back to Dick’s where I was met with Jack, the GM. He’s a cool dude and tightened it to spec, but when I asked for a small discount on a pair of shoes, he declined immediately and continued on with his day. While I am not an entitled human, I do believe I was entitled to SOMETHING for the possible bodily harm I could have faced while riding this death trap of a bike that was sold to me. Now i bet you’re wondering, why did he not know the bike wasn’t tightened before he left the store? Well, it was tightened JUST ENOUGH to take on a short, light bike ride through the store. The laziness of this generation boggles my mind. Do something right or don’t do it at all. I am extremely dissatisfied with this overpriced store. Dick’s was always a class act, but these days they’re SUBPAR AT BEST. God bless you all and have a great day.PS. Retrain your bike department. They are below average with the service they provide.

This location is terrible to their employees. The store manager acts like nobody besides the pretty girls exist. His arm candy, the former AA named Kendall has promised 3 different employees raises and promotions, only for them to all find out a month later that neither went thru and then the store manager will say too bad so sad. her and another associate named maddy bully the girls that work there because they like being Eric’s favorite employees. He promotes people who have no experience, Eric has called workers with handicaps the R word. He’s told employees they don’t matter, he demoted anyone who doesn’t flirt with him or make his ego big. Shop at their other locations, don’t support this toxic work environment.

Not 1 person asked if I needed any help and I was in there for 45 minutes. Went upstairs and downstairs. People were working. Shoe area,folding clothes,walking around. Plenty of workers,but I'm not exaggerating. Not 1 person. and I could have used a little help.Just 1 person to ask or idk...care.If you do shop here,know exactly what you're looking for and where it is.
