I just got my laptop back after experiencing an issue with the battery, and I’m really impressed with the service I received from Detour Computer Service. They were both professional and friendly, guiding me through the entire process of diagnosing the issue and safely removing the damaged battery. Even though I decided not to replace the battery at this time, their professionalism and timely service really stood out. I appreciate their honest and thorough approach and would highly recommend them for any labtop related issues.

I got a harsh problem with my SSD drive, and described my problem to the owner. They gave me a comprehensive understanding of what I could do for it. 5 stars for their proficiency and attitude!

Generally I'm not a person who writes reviews, but I was so happy Alan Detor was able to repair my laptop and rescue all my data that I wanted to share and recommend him highly. I picked my laptop back up in just a couple days, his cost was reasonable, and he answered all my questions in plain English. Thumbs up and thanks, Alan.

I highly recommend Detor Computer Serices for any of your computer needs. We have used Al for years repairing, virus protection, setting up new, etc. for our family. He is very knowledgeable and dependable! Al is our "go to guy" when it comes to computers! If you need computer service, call Al, you will be glad you did.

I went to Al a couple months ago after my laptop's hard drive died with a whole bunch of personal data on it. The quotes I received from Best Buy and other places were outrageous, and I wanted a second opinion from a local service. Throughout the whole process, Al was very thorough and professional in talking me through the data recovery process, and even though it was still expensive, well, that's the price you pay for not handling your data properly. If I ever have another issue like this, he'll be the first person I call, hands down. BACK UP YOUR DATA, people. But if something goes wrong, it's nice to have a service like Detor as an emergency backup plan. 5 stars, easy.

My laptop fan was defective. I was able to call and make an appointment for same day. My laptop was fixed and returned to me within a week.Alan is highly professional, and took the time to explain to me all facets of my repair.
