“I definitely like this store and it's location. Although it doesn't seem as though they have a lot of furniture in stock, please note that B.L. rents the old music store just to store furniture in. And believe you me, they have A LOT of furniture in stock. So ask the furniture retailer on duty or their great manager Sarah Anne to check online for you. She is very customer oriented and ensures that all of her employees are ,too. Celia is a knowledgeable young lady there, who can do virtually anything in any department. She is nice, kind and very helpful. So are the staff members there. Go there and enjoy a nice shopping experience.”

“Cashier working just now, didn't get their name but they were an absolute sweetheart and made me laugh even during a busy time like the day before Easter. They were tall and wearing a red and black plaid shirt and had platinum blonde short hair. They deserve a vacation day or two!”

“Just like TJ Maxx and the like but nicer stuff, well organized, great prices.Had a funny experience where I watched a man ask for a bag for 2 full-size suitcases. Like the size above carry-on and the largest in a set of 3. The clamshell type with 4 swivel wheels and handles that he used to wheel them up to the counter. He opened the larger one to put them together and tried to cram the medium one into it without unzipping the inside covers. The girl at the counter just kind of stood back because he was pissed she didn't have a bag big enough for his luggage. It was fun to watch karma get someone.”
“I'm used to the one on West Onondaga Street, just up from South Ave, and would say that they have a better selection of communities than the South Salina Street one?I couldn't find everything that I was searching for?A lot of the cooler's shelves were empty, and the ones that had items on were picked over... I was looking for frozen dinners and entrees, but all were missing ?I did manage to find a few things back there in the coolers areas ?Some of the items were in the same locations in both stores, so I managed to shop for the same things that I was used to getting ?I managed to fill two of those red baskets?Upon checking out, I discovered how much money I saved at this Family Dollar Store, and was very pleased ???”
“I really like their employees. They work hard. I go in there often and I never see anyone just lacking off..I used to work for family dollar so I do know why this store is a little messy and disorganized. They are only allowed 2 people per shift at the most and they are constantly busy so it's hard to get the chance to do anything extra but the cash registers. Give those hard workers some help. I would've given this family dollars if it was cleaner.”
“What a pleasure it was to visit your store as I am from Long Island. The gentleman near the front of the store named Samuel is such a pleasure as he greeted me upon entering. I could hear him speaking in different languages to customers beyond me and found that amazing and welcoming. I must admit that the way the store is set up to get in is very confusing. I love the all the name brands you carry and the prices are amazing. I will say as I was leaving I heard a customer getting very nasty to an employee as they were complaining about how confusing it is to get in and out of the store. I felt bad for the employee and actually was concerned for her safety. Something to consider. Aside from that what a wonderful experience.”

“Came down from Canada for a long weekend and dropped by this store. The staff were great and the selection was impressive. We bought mostly candy but did see a lot of thing that looked fun. We will be back.”
