Overall, moving from Syracuse, NY to Boston, MA with Delaney Moving & Storage (through United Van Lines) was a positive experience. We were under a pretty tight time crunch due to a job offer with an early start date, and Delaney was quick and courteous to help us with our move. Art did a virtual appraisal/inventory with us, and was kind and warm on the call. He returned quotes with various dates and services at our request, allowing us to chose the package that would work best for us. Cheryl was warm and extremely responsive throughout the process. Our new apartment complex had some very strict rules regarding delivery, which made orchestrating the delivery of our items a bit difficult, but David in Dispatch was extremely helpful.
On the morning of packing up, the movers arrived ahead of schedule, and quickly and efficiently packed up our belongings. They were friendly, and also great with our rescue dog who can be a bit wary of strangers.
Delaney was able to move and deliver our things to Boston the very next morning! We were not there to personally oversee the delivery (my spouse's parents were there to receive our things while we drove to Boston) but according to them, the process was smooth and professional. Some of our items sustained minor cosmetic damage (eg. some cheap plywood furniture is now missing a corner, and some of the items got a bit scuffed) but nothing too terrible.
Delaney/United Van Lines would definitely get our business again in the future: they made a very stressful situation a lot smoother and pleasant than it would have been otherwise, and provided a good professional service.

My family and I used Delaney Moving & Storage for a move from Syracuse NY to Georgia and it was the best decision hiring this company. From my first conversation with Art, to me constantly calling Cheryl with my many questions, to the guys who showed up on our move day, carried everything and took care of all our belongings. I say THANK YOU. You cannot go wrong with this company. They truly care about you & wouldn't just treat you like a number. Moving is already stressful but they take the stress away. Cheryl is amazing, she reassured me many times, called to check in to make sure all was going well. Just book them, you wouldn't regret it.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Delaney Moving & Storage. My company used them for the second time this week for a corporate office move and it was absolutely flawless (as was our first experience with them moving our corporate headquarters). Art, Dave and the entire moving team are some of the kindest and gracious people you will ever meet. And when I say they hustle, I mean they HUSTLE. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

We had Delaney Moving and Storage move us to our new office space and they did a great job, especially since they had to move us into a 2nd floor office with no elevator. They were professional, courteous and very hard working. I would highly recommend them and will call them again in a heartbeat!

Can you say your move was uneventful and easy as pie? Use Delaney and you too can make this claim. We moved our entire small office and warehouse, which meant over 10 offices (with furniture) 30-40 pallets, 50 file cabins and complete Parts Department.
Delaney did this with incredible speed and efficiency. AND under budget and less time than the original estimate. Outstanding customer service. Outstanding people. Outstanding company to work with.
ALSO, Be sure to have them drop of the Tyga boxes to do some prepackaging. You won’t regret it. Can’t thank David and his team enough for getting us up and running on in no time.

Hired Delaney to move everything from my 3 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom patio home 7 miles away. They communicated and planned the move out really well and were on time and very fast and professional. I will definitely recommend them!!

Needed a mover and ask friends for recommendations. My sister recommended Delaney. I am so glad I listened to her advice. Moving is not something most of us do very often. At Delaney they were very friendly and helpful getting me through a stressful time. Their customer service was above and beyond what I ever could have expected...and I did call them with lots of questions! They are experts and made me feel that my possessions were well taken care of. At Delaney everyone is polite, knowledgeable and helpful!
