I found this place nearby, which was very convenient for me. Quickly got an appointment for manicure and pedicure, let me tell you the most sweetest Turkish girl did the job the best she could. My first appointment she was yelled at by who I believe is the owner a Chinese woman" how long more do you have with her ? " I made a second appointment for 6.1, same situation with her yelling loudly " is it just a jel manicure"?Which made me very uncomfortable.So, Dear unfriendly owner you have absolutely no respect for paying customers and zero experience in customer service. This is what we do as women to make ourselves happy and was suppose to enjoy (self care) , but you're a very unprofessional rude woman, so you made my experience on both occasions horrible. I felt rushed and disrespected by someone who I'm paying for service.

I have come here a couple times since I have been going to school in Syracuse and let me tell you I love it!! The environment is so calming and relaxing while getting your service. I had scheduled a gel manicure but asked while at the appointment if I can add tips and EmEm accommodated great and did such a wonderful job. I love going there and would recommend for anyone!

My daughter’s 16th birthday is Monday. We made an appointment with this company 2 weeks ago. Yes, she changed the style a few times because they couldn’t do what she wanted. However, her final choice could be accommodated. Due to the strict cancellation and late policy we arrived 15 minutes early to the appointment. Manager had to call tech because it was close to the time of the appointment and she still had not arrived. Appointment was at 8:30 AM, tech walked in at 8:33 AM rushing. I calmed and slowed her down explaining to her in great detail what my daughter wanted. She understood and said Ok. I said “are you sure you understand” she said yes.2 hours later I return to pay, my daughter isn’t done and the way she looked at me, I knew something was wrong. The length of her nails weren’t what she wanted. I asked the tech why did she not follow my directives after she stated she understood. She stated “in 2 days they would break at that length”. IMPOSSIBLE! I have friends and family that have longer length. She was rushing because she was behind. The entire ordeal was justified by her and management. Yeah we got a 20% discount but had to go somewhere else to get her nails what she wanted because Jenny couldn’t get it right.This establishment does great work. But beware of Jenny “the tech by the door”. She don’t know what she’s doing, doesn’t follow directions and tries to justify her wrong doings. If you have minor children that don’t like confrontation like I do, stay the entire appointment because obviously, they take advantage of it. If I could rate Jenny a negative 50 I would. And Management justifying. Bad taste Cosmo, bad taste. Do better.

I have been going to Cosmopolitan since 2021. I was never a nails girl, but soon became addicted after I started coming here. I go to Jenny every 2.5-3 weeks and I love how durable the dip manicure is. On top of that, Jenny is amazing at what she does. She pays attention to detail and listens to what I want. Her pedicure is also great, it always comes out beautiful. She is super gentle and has never cut me once- and my skin breaks/bleeds very easily! I have tried so many other nail salons in the past (all over Syracuse) and Cosmopolitan is head and shoulders above the rest. They are organized, timely, and trustworthy.

WeiWei was the best. She did my pedicure and manicure and words cannot describe how happy I was with service. She was so detailed in both the pedicure and manicure I'll definitely will be back!!! Thank you!!!

I have never written a review about anything however I am so pass about how awful this salon was and people need to know. I made a nail appointment for a gel manicure and I left hysterically crying and so upset. I went to this salon with hard gel nails on which is very normal and any nail salon should know how to get this off. They then proceeded to drill and soak off my nails in dirty tubs of nail polish remover for a hour and 15 minutes. I had to cut my appointment short and not get them done because my nails from from long strong nails to weak and breaking off. I was so in so much pain that I now cannot do anything to my nails. if you are considering going PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT. This was the worst experience of my life and I am so upset about the fact that my nails are now EXTREMLY thin and ruined. DO NOT GO HERE.

Girl who answered the phone was VERY rude when I asked if they take walk ins and she hung up on me immediately when I nicely told her I’d call around for other locations that offer the services I was looking for(acrylic). Take your money and valued time elsewhere. This person in particular has zero respect. I travel for work and of all the nail salons I’ve been to, I’ve never experienced someone so inconvenienced with receiving a phone call from a customer just asking about times and services.

I used to be a regular, however customer service has gone down a lot over the years .management is dismissive of customer concerns. There have been several instances where my services have been rushed to fit in multiple customers and the atmosphere no longer feels relaxing. The last few times I’ve went , what was supposed to be relaxing left me really overwhelmed . The nail techs are typically nice but it’s hard to build those relationships when the services are so overbooked and they are overworked . It also seems to be more accommodations for specific customers. Will be taking my business elsewhere.
