Bill is an amazing shop owner who cares about his customers and the fact that he wants them to leave happy rather than make a few extra bucks is evident in nearly every exchange. I am LOVE with Tennis and without Bill I am not sure I would have fallen for the sport as much. Incredibly helpful to me as a newbie, and recommended an amazing coach. I can't say enough about Top Spin. They have a customer for life.

Best customer service ever.I've been to plenty of tennis pro shops, but this easily was my best experience. Such great staff in here! Topspin has a great selection of racquets, equipment and apparel.Their racquet stringing service is the best in the NYC metro area.

Topspin is a great place for all your tennis equipment and accessory needs. I had broken my strings, and needed them replaced next day for my match. I had called a few places, but what stood out for me is 1) Bill's knowledge, 2) his 30 years experience. This just got me in the door. Bill and I had a good chat about my playing level and power vs spin, we both agreed on poly strings and then came the discussion of tension and Bill put his foot down (his experience came out) on tension. He strung me up, I played that same day, walked away with 5 aces and won my match. I called bill to let him know of my experience, but the world needs to hear the story. I will be going back, definitely.

This place was a bit out of my way but was worth it. My Son needed a racket as he is scheduled to start taking lessons in 1 Week. The instructor sent out an email stating that everyone needs a 21" Racket. However after arriving at the store, the owner showed me a 21" and said that was unsuitable for my son. My son is tall and a 27" would be more appropriate. The owner sized a proper racket and case for my son and we were on our way. Folks, this is the reason you still need brick-and-mortar stores, because some things you just can't buy online. My experience here was 1st rate and I will definitely be patronizing this store again. They have excellent customer service and great hours. Highly recommended!!!

I was looking to purchase a tennis racquet for my 23 year old daughter so I consulted Yelp to identify a local shop. Topspin has a consumer rating of 5 stars from 3 reviews so I figured it couldn't be too bad. LOL I knew I'd have a better experience than my daughter recently had Dick's Sporting Goods with low inventory of tennis racquets and nonexistent staff (not even considering their level of knowledge). I visited Topspin yesterday (Saturday) afternoon and met Bill Levin (owner) who was friendly and knowledgeable about tennis racquets. He asked me a few questions about my daughter to estimate the proper grip size. He suggested a few entry level full graphite racquets (prestrung) and told me that if I purchased one (before removing the tags and use) I should take a picture of my daughter's grip on the racquet and send it to his personal mobile phone to review. If it's not the proper size grip I could bring the racquet in and exchange. I purchased the Babolat 2020 Boost A W Prestrung Tennis Racquet in Black, Pink and White color. I took the picture of my daughter gripping the tennis racquet and Bill promptly responded with, "Perfect," so I felt comfortable with the sizing.I'm very happy with the selection, knowledge and friendly service at Topspin.

One of the best costumer services ever. One of the best pro shops Ive ever been too and the staff is nothing but polite and insanely helpful. One lil thing went wrong and they made it their priority to help me which they did. Couldn't be any more happier finding this store and I strongly recommend going there. Great prices as well!
