“We were looking for a stain and were impressed with the number of different colors available in the store. In addition, the gentleman working there was very helpful. Once we had picked a color, he mixed it on-site and we were out the door a few minutes later. Also, it turned out there was a "special" running that day and it knocked the price of the can of stain down quite a bit. It was an excellent experience from start to finish.”

Meanwhile at the Farmingdale location the young staff person had me waiting for almost an hour and I went there twice to have it done. Elliot H provided great customer service and should be recognized for his professionalism and work ethic.”

“Reminds me of the old fashioned hardware stores my father used to take me to on weekends when he'd be doing chores. I needed an obscure nut for a very old bolt on an old house. The guy there couldn't find it among the racks and could've easily said they don't have it, but instead he asked if I had a few minutes to wait and then disappeared into the basement I think. Came back about 10 minutes later with a whole box of them so I could see which one fit the best. They just don't do things like that anymore in this high speed Amazon world. He went the extra distance for me and I'll always give a shout out to excellent service.”

“I had a project for which i needed to go back and order mire wood. The store clerks were AMAZING-PROFESSIONAL-KIND-PATIENT with my "no knowledge" of wood or how it works. The pricing is competitive as all BUILDOING SUPPLIES went through the roof since the pandemic. The delivery people each and every time were on time, gave me an estimate and showed up within the parameters-No stories of delay etc. The quality of the wood was EXCELLENT as i was working on an intricate projest that was high end for people to see. I called in the office to REPORT the driver for an excellent job abd the gal said shell let Brian know that i was 100% satisfied with my purchase, the timing, the cost, the delivery and the product.
