I went to Lidl at 6:55 PM on October 19 to get groceries. There was only one person at the register, an older man with salt and pepper curly hair. Initially, I thought there was a mistake on my receipt so I went back to him to seek clarification. He gave me a huge attitude, took my receipt and said “look at your receipt”and asked me to apologize to him. The exact words were “say sorry to me now”. I didn’t expect this as a response and tried to grab the receipt from his hand. He held on to it tightly, didn’t want to let go, and said “your calculator is not as accurate as my computer, you better know that”. I was shocked at such comments especially for those who work at customer-facing jobs. Later, he added “you better leave the store before I charge you more”. This guy should be fired. He clearly is miserable and is bringing his misery to work, which is not good for the shoppers nor the brand or reputation of Lidl. I am a huge Lidl fan but after this incident, I don’t know if I want to go there anymore. I also tried to contact their customer service and store manager, both were nowhere to be found. Go to ShopRite folks! You all deserve a better shopping experience.

I was served by the rudest cashier at Syosset today. And got no customer support from the so called manager wearing a filthy shirt. It's no wonder people use self check out.

Don’t listen to the Karens — the store is great and has the cheapest prices. I live in Queens (but work at the hospital next door) and routinely shop here for my groceries because of how incredibly cheap it is. That being said, it is a grocery store, so if the college kid ringing you up is a little nasty, I mean, what did you expect? That said, even though you get what you pay for, WOW does that go a long way. Using their app makes the deals even better

A few days ago I visited the Syosset LIDL very early in the morning with only a few customers in the store. I was purchasing a flat of flowers and the price came up higher than the sign posted. I asked to see a store manager. The cashier told me he was not coming to speak to me. Poor customer relations!! This is not the first problem in this store. Go to the Plainview location!!! The staff is much more efficient and considerate.

Ia 55 to 60 year old couple tried to rob me in the parking lot today at about 2pm. The woman told me I had car trouble and bent down by my back tire and came up with a yellow push pin. Then she asked where there was a pet hospital. While she was trying to distract me, her partner was trying to open my front passenger door so he could take my purse. Luckily I did not move from my frint driver door. After leaving I noticed my passenger door was not fully closed. I went ti the bank and returned to look for tgem so I could take tgeir pucture to show the police!

Really horrible customer service. If you are paying cash, you may have to wait on line all day. Management is steadfast that customers use digital currency.Prices have skyrocketed, too. I can do better elsewhere.

The manager of this store needs a little help with reeling in her attitude towards customers (Caucasian, 50-60 years old). I have had no prior problems with coming to LIDL in any location, prior to my interaction with this woman. She told my family that it was service dogs only, without realizing my mother was handicapped--and stood over us while we were in self-checkout in hopes that she would have another reason to be condescending and spiteful.

Half the things there expire in days . I bought some ronzoni pasta there and I never in my life had bad pasta , but the stuff i got there was . Odd lot of food .
