Purchased a Louis Vuitton bag from them for 1800 turns out it was counterfeit. Please do not shop here way cheaper just to go to stores. They’re selling used bags at new prices.

I was so excited to make my 1 st purchase at the Designer Exchange. Shari was so patient and incredibly sweet. I asked a lot of questions and looked at several bags I ended up with the first one I absolutely fell in love with. I’m going to love the heck out of it!!! Thank you again for your patience!!!

If you’re black do not waste your time going here, the owner & the staff is extremely RACIST. As soon as you walk in they start to racially profile you & follow you around the store & god forbid you ask to see a bag they will not let you touch the back, however all their white customers are welcomed to do so. Stay away from this place better yet stay out of Syosset if you’re a minority. The security guard is also a racist that won’t make any direct eye contact with you if you’re black.How nasty was that response, your security guard proximity to a black woman means absolutely NOTHING. You all & this establishment is still RACIST. Have a good day!

I typically do not leave reviews but wanted to give a big shoutout to this local business. I also see majority of their reviews are regarding purchases so want to share my experience with selling. I went into Designer Exchange to sell my bags which I never thought of letting go but life happened and I had no choice but to sell. Without knowing my story, Shari and her husband offered very competitive buyout offers and were extremely easy to work with. They, including the security guard, made me feel comfortable and explained why they could not take one of my bag or couldn't offer higher (which I agreed and was fine with). I would return if I ever need to sell more and even to purchase as they have a beautiful collection. Went in for the first time today just to scope out my options and ended up leaving with a beautiful Louis Vuitton Wallet in hand. Everyone was so helpful especially Shari and the security guard in the front. I can't wait to come back again for my next purchase! Everything was so beautiful and reasonably priced! I definitely recommend coming here instead of buying online because here you're getting top quality and authentic items that you can see and feel for yourself. This place is definitely a hidden gem!
