The pharmacy is excellent! Good clean store. I find them more accommodating than other pharmacies in the area.

I wouldn't even give them 1 star after how rude they were. I got there at 1:31 and was the only person and the woman closed the window on me saying they are closed. Apparently they don't have patience for 1 person. You'd think at a pharmacy you'd have more patience and manners. Definitely going to stick with CVS.

Horrible customer service. Called to ensure medication was in stock prior to having the doctor resend the Rx was told, yes, now after doctor sent Rx the rude tech named Mina who answered the phone proceeded to brush me off instead of telling me he will order the medication and tell me I have never been there before. (Which I have.) What does that matter anyway.

Walgreens in airmont NY has to be the worst pharmacy I've ever used. 1. Customer service is appalling. The employees are rude and openly show that they hate their job. There is no professionalism or courtesy. They have never answered the phones when ever my wife or I called. I called 4 times this past weekend, listened to that horrible music for 10 minutes, then the phone rang approximately 20 times and automatically disconnected. I then went in person to check on the prescription because it must've been ready. First they said that it's showing in process, then a few minutes later they said they didn't have it but then realized that they actually did have it and It'll be ready in 15 minutes. Great! I thought. 49 minutes later I check in with them in case they forgot about me. Mind you, I'm sitting in a chair in direct view in front of their registers playing on my phone and wearing a work paramedic jacket. So I "kinda" stick out when I'm in public. A new person greets me, I go through the whole process again and tell her that they said it'll be ready in 15 minutes, 49 minutes ago. She looks at the computer and says that I needed prior authorization for the medication. What?!? That medication is filled every month. The authorization was granted a long time ago. Not to mention, Why did you have me wait around for you to fill it, just to tell me 50 minutes later it needs prior authorization. Shouldn't you have told me that right away? Well, our Insurance company was immediately contacted and they said that the medication is in fact authorized, Walgreens did something wrong on their end. They tried to straighten out the matter with Walgreens over the phone. They then said That we have to talk to some pharmacist tomorrow to make sure every thing was straightened out. Personally, I don't use this Walgreens for certain reasons. I was there for my wife's medication. I prefer CVS at Indian Rock, open 24/7 and they are always pleasant. Even Stop and Shop in Monroe is wonderful.

The absolute worst. Forget trying to get through on the phone. There are always long waits at the pharmacy. The drive up window is closed many days. They close the pharmacy down 1:00-1:30 each day for lunch during the time when customers have lunch hour and need to run errands (ie pick up meds); instead they should stagger break times like every other business does. I was forced to switch from CVS to Walgreens a few years ago due to insurance- but now I am switching back to CVS, and I can't wait! Wish there was an option for zero stars.

Had covid test at 4. Woman at drive thru said it was closed and to come inside without letting me speak then ignored me when I pressed the call button. So I go to the front door and ask if they are sure they want me inside for a covid test as I am quite sick. Cashier looks flustered and says “it’s chaos back there”. Someone else went to ask and returned 30 seconds later and said they aren’t doing tests. I had canceled another appointment to be tested to get this one and drove 120 minutes needlessly and now must wait another day and a half to get tested and possibly return to work.

Pharmacy is a mess and the staff is rude. Drive through is constantly closed and when I ask to save my card on file they say yes but then tell me I have no card on file.

Had Covid test booked for 4pm at this location. As I arrive at window at 3:50 there was a sign saying drive thru window closed please come inside. I knew I shouldn't do that, so I call press the button. Woman quickly says window is closed and to come inside. I press the button again to confirm as I am here for a covid test. No response. I call the store and wait behind 4 callers. Eventually I go to the door and am told they are not doing covid tests. I canceled one for the next day and now must wait another day and a half. Ridiculously managed.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I had to deal with a rude man in a GAP sweatshirt who was the MANAGER. He was being dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. He literally SUCKS and I will never come back here again. Go work at the dollar store you are trash and you need to take a class on customer service

Horribly managed store, Rude, Nasty Pharmacists! One star is way too much for this place! Pharmacist Lily and a "floater" named Felicia claim it is not their job to call customers about insurance denials, follow up with doctors for pre-authorizations, or even call customers to inform them of authorizations - when finally received - and medicine availability! Felicia, who apparently works at several Wagreens in the Rockland Co. suburban territory, is particularly nasty, and literally hung up on us when we simply inquired about the status of a pending Rx, and asked for follow-up help. Walgreens' promise of assuring "happy and healthy" customers with professional customer service is totally missing from this store, which is also highly unsanitary in the pharmacy department--with pharmacists and techs who eat right at their work station, in between filling Rx's. But the worst part is the store's unprofessional, unsupervised pharmacists refusing to do the basic work necessary for customers to obtain their essential prescription medicines, which contrary to their belief, is their JOB. Stay away from this Walgreen's for the sake of your health!

I went to the store because a friend told me that you had wheelchairs with seats. I needed help so the Pharmacy Dept overhead called for someone to come to the aisle where I was waiting. Ten minutes went by, and they called again. Finally a man came and I asked to see the wheelchair and I asked him some questions. He was unable to answer and did not seek anyone else who would know the answer. He just put the chair back up and walked away. This was my first time in the store and my last.
