A few months ago I needed to replace a battery in my UPS. I bought one on Amazon but it arrived completely dead. Given that I couldn't use my server until I got my UPS back up and running I called RefurbUPS as I knew that they are local to me. They were really responsive and helped me get a new APC battery within a few hours that I was able to pick up from their warehouse as they are a local Rockland County business. More recently when my second UPS unit had a relay fail I reached out to Peter via email on a Saturday. He got back to me within a few minutes with a very affordable replacement option and I was able to stop by their offices the following Monday to pick up a refurbished APC Back UPS Pro BR1300G. Peter was incredibly helpful in answering my questions as I was coming from a slightly higher rated BR1500G so I was concerned about the negligible differences between the two models. Both my new battery and replacement UPS work great. I'm always glad to support a local small business, especially one with such excellent customer service. They even took my old dead UPS and a dead battery to recycle for me at no charge!

I called late last week needing to replace my APC batteries that were now 5 years old. This is a 10 year old APC UPS that just keeps going. I called and spoke with Serena and what a joy to interact with her. Professional and very interested in making sure I got the correct pair of batteries. She looked me up in their system and I was still in there. We concluded business, hung up and because I need a second UPS I looked at their refurbs and found a great deal and ordered it. Had it not been for Serena representing RefurbUPS so professionally I would have probably shopped around and bought new from somewhere else. Buying refurbed from a reputable company is the ultimate in recycling and reducing the waste stream. Thanks RefurbUPS and thanks Serena!!!

The replacement battery I ordered was priced well, arrived quickly and worked correctly with my UPS. When I had an question regarding why the battery wasn't holding a charge, I submitted a question on their site and their support called back me within *1 minute* and walked me through a short troubleshooting session. It turns out a battery terminal had come loose (oops) and they had me back up and running in no time. Good support service is hard to come by so I'll be ordering from them again.

Found these guys looking for a YouTube video on how to change the batteries on my APC 3000XL. Not only did they have one, but they had links to buying replacement batteries and the sled/cage they go in. (Sure, that's self-serving), but their prices were only slightly higher than the no-name batteries on Amazon and eBay, and RefurbUPS offers a guarantee and warranty. Kind of a no-brainer. And for you skeptics, I'm not an employee, and I wholeheartedly believe the ResellerRating these guys have is 100% legit. My eight pack of batteries arrived packed in a HEAVY cardboard box, with a plastic strap around one of the batteries so I could pull the first one out easily. That box was suspended by styrofoam corners in yet another box, and that box had bailing straps around it so the UPS driver could carry it. (50lbs.) Oh, and it arrived the next day after I ordered it, from upstate New York to lower Pennsylvania. I would say buy with confidence. I'm pretty much a customer for life if the customer service and prices are always this good.

We have a lot of APC RM-1500 UPS units that need new batteries every couple of years. RefurbUPS always has them in stock and they're close enough to me so that I can go pick them up rather than having them shipped. They also take back old batteries so I don't have to find some place to dispose of them. Prices are reasonable and the batteries are fresh.
