“Family Veterinary Care of Ossining is the best veterinary practice around. I have had a handful of vets over the years in Westchester and none of them come close to the amazing Dr. Klainbard and his superstar team. Dr. Klainbard is incredibly thoughtful, compassionate, patient and knowledgeable. He is an exceptionally nimble and resourceful thinker, always finding creative solutions and avenues of exploration to define and resolve very nuanced issues related to my complicated pug. All the Vet Techs are so kind and knowledgeable as well, and everyone at the front desk echoes the same vibe. Lisa and Evan are always super accommodating and sweet, unflappable in the roles. It’s hard to add to the existing 251 5-star Google reviews across the board, but why not make it 252. Family Veterinary Care of Ossining is the best - they literally treat you like family.”
“Over the years I have searched for the perfect Veterinary practice. My search is over. I am so happy to have found County Animal Hospital. Dr. Robert Weiner and all of the staff are wonderful. My 2 dogs Hercules and Cleopatra love going for a visit. Hercules is a healthy dog but my Cleopatra had some issues a few years back and I rushed her to see Dr. Weiner. He was able to diagnose her intuitively at first and then the lab results confirmed exactly what he diagnosed as Kushings and Diabetes. Dr. Weiner litterally saved Cleopatra's life. Now, several years later her Kushings and Diabetes is well managed because of Dr. Weiner's incredible diagnostic skills and his caring manner. I highly recommend County Animal Hospital. Everyone there is kind and very professional. Every detail of my experience with them is so deeply appreciated. They literally are life savers!”

Our littlr guy got not to happen, he’s an 80lb terrier and me and Eymi powered down after quite a draw all to see if his hindside needed attention. “I have been taking my pets here since I was a kid, and they've always been immensely kind, caring, and gracious in listening as well as explaining any questions or illnesses my pets have had. I went in today for a follow-up with one of my kitties who had to be rushed to the emergency vet over the weekend. (He's okay, no worries!) I felt terrible because the clinic is always so busy, but Dr. Janice not only listened to my kitty's unfun weekend story, looked at his records from the emergency vet, but also asked questions to make sure we were on the same page. I was worried something would be wrong still, but Dr. Janice checked him over thoroughly and happily reported he's much improved and will be fine—even writing down specific instructions for me in his medicine adjustments and other necessary supplements. This is the only place I'll ever take my cats, and this is absolutely why. So, so grateful, thank you.”

Additionally, she is so kind, supportive, and very careful in terms of her opinion on a specific medical issue. Gratefully, she is not an alarmist, but instead, explains issues with the utmost care and understanding of the pet owner’s needs. Dr. Ghersini also communicates via email almost instantaneously which is so comforting when you are concerned about your pet. My 13 ½ and 11 ½ year old dogs run to her when she comes to our house! She is truly gifted in her knowledge, approach, and competency. You would be truly lucky to have Dr. Ghersini take care of your pets in your home, no less!”

“My 3 pets have been patients there since they were babies, 2 passed of old age and in the stony point office. Dr. Bosna and all the staff there are wonderful. The only issue I have is prices are way to high now, I cannot believe every time I go I walk out with a 500 dollar bill and now just for x-rays and sedation 997.00 dollars, I think this is my last pet because unfortunately having pets have become a luxury nowadays.”
