I would like to share some feedback about my son's school. I have noticed a few areas where improvements could be made. Firstly, there seems to be an issue with the school's meal provision as my son is not receiving adequate food and they don't allow outside food. Additionally, I have requested access to the classroom camera for better involvement, but unfortunately, it has not been granted. Furthermore, I feel that there is a lack of communication through the app and my son's pictures consistently show him wearing his coat, regardless of the weather. Lastly, despite my request, unwanted visitors have been allowed. I believe addressing these concerns will greatly benefit the students.

Both of my sons, my 2 year old and 1 year old both go to Children of America - Stony Point and they both started school here since they were 5-6 months old. All the staff and management are great. I would like to congratulate Mrs. Briana on being nominated for teacher of the year!! She is amazing with my kids and have been with both of them since they were infants. They both just love her. She is so good with the children. She is always so communicative with us and always keeps us in the loop. She loves them as her own. Also, we love Ms. Colleen who has been my 2 year old’s teacher since he started. She’s been with him for 2 years now. We also love Ms. Jewel who is the infant class teacher and have been with my boys since infancy. Always going above and beyond. They are excellent at what they do. They have become like family to us and we wouldn’t think of even going anywhere else. Location and hours are great especially for working parents who have long hours. I can see my kids growing up in this school.

I am beyond excited Ms. Briana L. is currently nominated for COA- Stony Point's TEACHER OF THE YEAR award. She is one of eight teachers (of over a thousand teachers) to be nominated. This is not a surprise as she is incredible. She has been beyond amazing with my daughters throughout the years, taking care for them as if they were her own. They have felt safe and loved around her. My 2-year-old has learned all of her colors, shapes and numbers 1-10 and emotions with her help. She becomes excited when she sees her and that is beyond comforting to myself as a parent. As an asst. director, she has qualities that fit those of a leader. She is always helpful and ready to take risks and any challenges with grace and good attitude. She resembles all COA stands for- she reflects authenticity and commitment to creating a safe and educational learning environment.

I am a former employee of COA Stony Point! I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Briana for several years and I can’t say enough good things about her. She is the definition of a team player. She cares deeply about the kids and classroom and it shows. She has creative ideas that keep the kids learning through curriculum as well as exploration. She is deserving of the recognition that comes with being a nominee for Teacher of the Year but more importantly deserves the award for her evident commitment to COA and to the kiddos!

Love being apart of the Children Of America family! I have worked here on and off for four years and both my children have been coming since birth. Not one complaint. Amanda and Wendy are professional, respectful, and super caring to all staff and children. Wouldn’t work or send my kids to any other preschool.

I have 3 children that attend this daycare & have for many years. My son is 4 years old & is in Ms. Megan’s classroom. She is absolutely amazing! Organized, reliable, communicates with me daily, keeps me informed of day to day things, responds back to me immediately. My son has been with her now for 2 years. She has become like family to all of us. I trust her more than anyone to take care of my child while I am unable to. She loves being a teacher & it is definitely evident that she puts that above all else. The children love her. She truly is an amazing woman & I am so blessed to call her my son’s teacher. Amanda, the director, & Wendy, assistant director, are also incredible! My kids feel very safe & comfortable being here!

I love this daycare!!! My daughter has been going to COA since she was 3 months old and she will be graduating pre-k this coming spring. Every single teacher she has been with was absolutely amazing especially Miss Andy who she has had the pleasure of moving up with her for 2 years. Both directors Amanda and Wendy have been the best! Super supportive of any issues that may arise and great advocates to our children. I plan on using COA SP for more years to come, as my new little girl arriving in March will also be attending! We love it here!! <3

The director and assistant director are such great help. The classrooms are well designed to meet every child’s learning needs. The staff are so intuitive in coming up with great activities in which help my son learn and have fun. Amazing how one of their classroom goals is to teach little ones to learn sign language. I absolutely recommend parents to look into having their child a part of a great team.
