Today, I visited the store with the intention of purchasing a cardboard box to ship a laptop. Upon arrival, I engaged with the store manager, Christian, seeking assistance in locating a specific-sized box measuring 16x16x4 inches. Despite my polite request, Christian directed me to search for it independently, which, while not particularly helpful, I initially accepted. Despite earnest efforts over a span of 10 minutes, I was unable to locate the appropriate box. When I approached Christian once more for assistance, he responded by stating that he could assist, albeit for a fee of $7. Subsequently, I noticed a discarded box within the store and inquired if I could utilize it. However, Christian refused, citing a label with the recipient's name as the reason for denial, overlooking the simple solution of blotting it out with a marker. When I requested to speak to a higher authority, Christian asserted that he was the manager. This encounter epitomized one of the most regrettable instances of customer service I've encountered, leaving me thoroughly dissatisfied. I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment, as the customer experience was nothing short of appalling.

The managers Christian, Matt and Jonathan are rude and condensing. The short kid JOE who works in copy center, it’s obvious you hate your job, then leave! You’re rude and incompetent so much so I’m calling cooperate about how you treated me and the elderly customers at self serve, how dare you! The copy department is atrocious, if you want your copies late, missing or not completed at all this copy center will fail you in all ways. The lady running copy center who refused to give me her name is rude and unhelpful. She turns customers away and tells them to come back the next day for a single copy. Customers are treated so poorly at Staples Stony Brook that I will never bring my business or recommend this Staples Stony Brook what so ever to anyone. Reviews need to be put fourth to change this stores attitude and lack of work ethic that is completely lacking.

They won’t print one page architectural drawing when I walked in.( 2 guys at the print center) they need to schedule it 24 hours ahead for be page!!!They really not into work at all. Knowing That I had used the location to print before with no problem.

Love the Print Center at Staples. Machines are easy to use and if you do have a problem the associates are knowledgeable and happy to assist. Great selection of shipping items, which is what I came in for.

I don't recommend this location, first of all the store smells like sweat. But that put aside I was trying to purchase a few pieces of card stock from the copy center rather then buy a ream that I would never use. Thats when "Cristian" stopped the transaction, even though I was willing to pay for the printing, just to buy 5 blanks. I got the impression that it became a power thing for this employee so I left empty handed and dissapointed I couldn't make a personal card for my sons birthday. Thanks for noticing.

Whoever the girl is that worked in the copy center tonight (9/29/23) was really not pleasant to me. I placed a same day print order at 10am and called around 3:30 to see if the order was ready yet. She said it would be ready by 8:30, I said ok. I called again at 7:30 to see if there was any update and she told me my order had a lot of pieces and they were working on it. I asked if it would be ready by 8:30 and she said they’ll try. I said “well what happens if it’s not ready by 8:30?” And she said I could wait in the store while they try to finish it? What? Same day orders before 12pm are guaranteed by 8:30pm but ok?I showed up at 8:45pm to give her extra time complete the order. She greeted me with “can I help you?” And I said “I’m Steph I’m here for my pickup”… she turned around, said nothing, continued packing my box, walked it over and said “here you go” and walked away. There was no “sorry it took so long, have a good night, thank you” or anything.I am SO not one to complain but I spent $300+ on my order and I don’t think a little customer service would’ve killed anyone.It’s unfortunate that Staples is so close to my house because for that sort of treatment, especially when I hadn’t done anything wrong, I’d much rather take my companies business elsewhere.

I've never seen lazier workers in my entire life. I came in the other day and all the employees were hanging out in the copy center gossipping. When I finally got there attention I got the generic "whatever's on the shelf is what we have". Than like a giggling laughing as I walked away.. Sorry I interrupted your hang out it won't happen again

5 Stars mostly for employees. My worker informed me the app has been changed and helped me with the new one. No word from corp or emails stating so, just this stellar worker doing a great job. Staples is lucky to have him, there are plenty of other companies to work for that have it together.

I came to this location because it was near my house and needed to get photos printed. The employee at the print section wasn’t trained well and made up her own process of printed on foam board. The price at other staples and online was the same but here. Not only she she added the extra free going from 48-75 dollars she also wasn’t confident in a 24 hour turnaround. It was like she was denying the business because she didn’t wanna do extra work. All staples pricing/print process should be transparent within the state. After them denying my business I went to a local print and ship where they didn’t refuse my business.

Ever since Covid hit the Mrs has been working from home, it was time for a new chair for her home office, the one she had was too unconfortable to be sitting in for hrs on end so we went to Staples. The second we walked in they asked if we needed, help, we declined for the time being and we went straight to the chairs to check them out. The Mrs tried a few and finnally picked one out, (which also happened to be the same one I liked for myself). A sales associate by the name of Justin came by and asked if we needed help, we accepted and he further elaborated on the features of the chair and suggested we also get a mat since the mrs had trouble maneuvering on our rug. We decided to get the chair and mat and since the chair was a good deal we got one for yours truly as well. Justin got the chairs from the back in no time and placed them in our car. We left very satisfied with our purchases and with the help & courtesy Justin and the sales staff demonstrated. We'll be back to visit this store again the next time we need something for "our office".

The store manager is so rude I cannot even say it loud enough. A new employee Nina was trying to help me and learn on the job and we were doing great. Then the store manager came over and actually made the situation more stressful, he didn't know how to get what I needed done and he was rude.
