Stone Ridge Orchard is a historic working farm set on 115 acres in the heart of the Rondout Valley, with origins dating back 200 years. From May through December, visitors can enjoy a farm stand stocked with a variety of produce, baked goods, apple cider, hard cider, and other locally sourced products. While the farm stand is open daily during the season, the tasting room, pizza, farmers market, and u-pick activities are closed for the winter, with plans to reopen in the spring. Visitors often appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the local, reasonably priced goods. Many enjoy picking apples and sampling the delicious honeycrisp apples from the farmers market. The farm is praised for its well-maintained grounds and friendly staff, creating a welcoming community space where families can make memories. Some visitors mention that the orchard could improve its offerings for children, as there are limited attractions and some dying pumpkins in the patch. Overall, Stone Ridge Orchard is regarded as a lovely, calm spot perfect for apple picking and enjoying local produce. It provides a relaxed environment that fosters community and connection with nature, making it an enjoyable destination during the season. Although some visitors have experienced minor disappointments, especially outside the main season, the farm remains a charming place to visit for those seeking fresh, local fare and a peaceful rural setting.
The best blueberries I have ever had in my entire life! And cheaper than buying organic blueberries at the store. Unreal! So good!

Very calm and conducive atmosphere. Orchards well maintained. Pick up your own basket is very good and is a thrilling experience. Good place to visit with family. The pumpkins for Halloween were getting ready .
