As I don't want to waste my time contesting so many points you made in response to my review, I will only say the following: Your invoice # 10377 in the amount of $8,750, which I referred to as approximately $9,000.... you refer to as "somewhat less" than $9,000. Indeed, it was $250 less, but are you serious? Do you view $250 significant enough to dispute that your fee was near $9,000? I NEVER requested that you represent my son pro bono or as an ad litem attorney. What I did ask you, by telephone, is whether you could give me some advice about his situation. For that, you responded that you would require a retainer before you would say another word.... that's very different than what you're implying in your response. As I stated, it is for this this reason that I am particularly appalled by your conduct; especially considering you had just been paid close to $9,000 for my sister's estate planning. Finally... it's true that you made a couple of trips to our house due to my sister's inability to travel to your office... but, as I see it, you jumped at the chance to make those trips which facilitated your billing close to $9,000. I believe your fee was extraordinary for filling in the blanks of boiler plate documents. And, finally... I take particular offense that you make reference to my sister's being "pleased" with your work. Her physical and mental faculties, as was quite evident, were in full decline, to the extent that she really was in no position to evaluate, and in some cases understand, the documents you presented to her.

I highly recommend Ms. Hansen. Since posting a review awhile back, I have hired Ms. Hansen to handle two more real estate transactions in addition to my three previous ones. I rely on her knowledge, attention to detail and efficiency. She is organized and aware of potential pitfalls. Just the things you want from a lawyer. She has protected my interests and then some. She can be counted on to do what a lawyer should do.

Carolyn is a true professional and has worked tirelessly and some times with out proper payment because that is just the kind of person she is and words alone don't do this review proper justice ! I would recommend her to friends family and co workers and plan to use her again ! In he future thanks Carolyn !

Carolyn Hansen handled the purchase of my house with experience and competence. She was aware of more pitfalls than I was (Oh, thank you!) and took steps to keep me from falling in. She handled negotiations with a trustee, and worked out the financial details to my benefit. I am entirely satisfied with her work, and will not hesitate to work with her again.

Carolyn facilitated a commerical real estate closing for me last month. She was entirely professional and what impressed me most was her attention to the smallest of details. I would certainly recommend her to my friends and family.
