“It had many genres , not really kid friendly. Cute shop... not really what we were looking for. Also parking is tough in the area ( not the shops fault , just a quick heads up).”
“Just went here for the first time today with my wife. The store is physically smaller than some other bookstores, and in this instance it’s a huge benefit. This shop has an exquisitely curated selection of offerings! Every single book that’s in this shop is worth reading. For the first time in a while, I was inspired in this store to want to read things that I wouldn’t normally go for because I know this shop owner spends countless hours making sure every book here is worth taking up its space on the shelf. You can tell!I’m a mystery/thriller/horror reader and my wife is into fantasy and romance books. They have a great selection of both of these genres, which is uncommon. I’m happy to be a new resident of Rosendale so that we can call this our new bookstore!”
“Half Moon is one of my fav Hudson Valley bookstores! I love that they have a section on women artists. I can always find something neat there and you can get a cup of tea at one of the great nearby cafes.”
