I visited the markets twice during my 3 days stay at the island and had very good experiences. I give 5 stars for 2 reasons, the friendly staff and fresh/delicious/healthy deli food. I tried 6 different kinds of salads and they are all delicious.

The Bay St Top Tomato is very clean, organized & has very pleasant employees. I do all my shopping there on a weekly basis. I recently redeemed my receipts for a great deal being offered if you spend either $500 or $250, within a months time. I chose a 1/2 tray of Chicken Marsala as my gift & it was overstocked with chicken cutlet, super tender & over all delicious! If you need a pick up & go meal, they also have many to select from & I’ve never been disappointed. 5+ stars place!

I ordered from Bay Street top tomato twice for their family dinners. I will say they exceeded my expectations of how tasty the food was. I whole heartedly recommend this store.

When I say amazing customer service I really and truly mean it. My favorite cashier is Jacqueline every time I pass by to purchase anything her smile and her spirit brightens my day. I went in today to grab a few things I was so happy to see her. The food here is always fresh and although it's a small store, it comes with plenty. The sales on water are none like no other. The ambiance is comfy feels like a mom and pops Italian restaurant. Being a traveler it's ideal to have stores like these when you are on the go. I greatly appreciate the service. Please promote Jacquelyn I'm thinking store manager. Her fruits of the spirit are fruiting!

Love their homemade prepared foods! Deli department! Stuffed chicken breast, stuffed pork chops, stuffed portobello mushrooms, spinach quiche! Fabulous selection, and always fresh! So fortunate to have them right here on Bay Street!

I have been on Staten island for 30 yrs and this is the place to come from shopping to catering your event. They have awesome prices. Fresh fruits and vegetables everyday. Seasoned meats. Fresh pastry. I love the Deli department the guys their are awesome they are so engaging and helpful the deli food is so good. The Cold cuts combo prices are great. Today I finally I had the pleasure meeting Nick(owner). The store is so organized and so clean. Great job to your staff keep on smiling and being professional and courteous to your customers Nice in receiving 10 percent off as an health worker(RUMC) it made my day being recognized.Please let me know if you can donate holiday food baskets to our needy families for the holidays . We always order from your catering dept we look no further your the best Thank you!

The re-opened top tomato is super. Very clean, still being stocked, very fresh breads, home made cakes. Hoping the new top tomato will be around for a very long time

First impressions it looks organized and clean.Prices are little over than other grocery markets.But they are scammers.Be careful check your groceries before you leave.I bought watermelon and 2 lemons.Now for two items you would think it would be in bag together.Well wrong you arrive at home and find out you just got watermelon and lemons they kept for themselves to enjoy some lemonade on customers expense.

Don't buy any seafood in this store if you don't want to end up at a hospital. This seafood place has to be shot down for good due to an imminent hazard to the public health. Most of the seafood is far beneath the quality acceptance line.
