The amount of time you wait for customer service is ridiculous. Almost an hour for propane. The store is not that busy. Really shouldn't take so long.

If anyone would like a job at The Home Depot 2750 Veterans Road West in a Staten Island. You can stand around and talk and do nothing for a paycheck. The manager and the cashiers are annoyed when you question why they don’t work or have the adequate employees to purchase an item. Cashier actually laying across the counter doing absolutely nothing. It’s a preferable option for employment since I currently do checkout in multiple stores without any forms of compensation.

I am abhorred by the treatment I have received from Home Depot thus far. I am a Pro customer under the Xtra Loyalty Program and I was hoping to remodel a closet but by the way Home Depot has treated me as a customer, why wouldn't I take my business elsewhere...I made a consultation appointment over two weeks ago for a specialist to come in and give me a quote for my closet, discuss options, and talk through my needs. The individual who was booked never came in, never called and I missed an entire day of work pay because I was waiting for him to come. I decided to give Home Depot another chance and booked another appointment because I do al my shopping at Home Depot and am a loyal customer.I made an appointment with another person who called me two hours before our scheduled time to come early, and when I couldn't, he asked me to make my appointment virtual out of convenience for him. I agreed because I'm an understanding person, but then he asked me to measure the closet myself? Why am I doing work for your consultants? The whole point of that one hour session is for the person to come to my house, take the measurements needed, discuss options that cater to my needs, and put together a quote. That is not how you do business. Regardless, I sent him the measurements and was waiting for the Zoom link he promised to send me for my 7:30pm appointment. The appointment time came and once again I was never called or consulted. Nobody showed up and I had no zoom link. I called customer service by 8:30PM and a representative said she would get in contact with this individual immediately, and she did. He called me back a few minutes later saying he forgot the appointment time. He said he would get back to me in a couple of hours with a quote (it was already 9:00PM). This is extremely unprofessional and I should not be getting contacted in the middle of the night. We never even discussed anything - how is he sending me a quote when I didn't tell him what color I want, how many drawers, the structure, etc? Why am I not valued as a customer and why are my appointments not taken seriously? I called and asked to speak to a supervisor the next day and I was connected with Omar. Omar assured me that someone would contact me within 24 hrs with an appointment time, a consultation and a way to make me satisfied. Ten days have passed since then with no consultation appointment, no call from Omar and no appointment time given. I am baffled with how unprofessional a large company like Home Depot is. The way they treat their customers is disgusting and there is not a single person that I spoke to who took my concern seriously. The fact that I have to write a complaint like this for a service I have never received is a waste of my time. This company has cost me two days of pay, wasted countless hours of my time with going back and forth with people who do not take their job seriously. Customer satisfaction is clearly not important to this organization. I urge you to hire competent individuals who will be professional, keep their appointment times and leave their customers happy. This has been a disgusting experience and I am angry, unhappy and sickened by all I have went through.

This place has the worst customer service. The worst. I walked in and approached an employee. I said hello he responded with a "what do you want?" I was at a loss for words. That's just the worst of my experiences in this location.

We love to go to the kids workshops they offer once a month! Hoping they bring it back every Saturday like they did prior to the pandemic!

My elderly mom and I were looking for flooring on a Tuesday night. Unlike the forest Ave location, none of the tiles were on display and worse there was not one person to help us except for one guy who was clearly busy loading items and operating a forklift. In my desperation I bothered him and he was nice enough To stop what he was doing. He also couldn't find what we're looking for but when others who would just say " We're out" he asked for a sku number. Turns out they had it but it was in a palette all the way to top. He grabbed his forklift and brought it down for us. Best of all, the item was discontinued and on clearance. Another lady came to help . They were both very nice. Ron and Lizette, you have restored my faith in what good customer service should be. Many workers and store managers have forgotten what that is

This place always has a lot of people but checkout seem to be ok which is good, who wants long lines. Workers are helpful and usually they have things that we need in stock.

This store, south shore Staten Island, is the worst for customer service. I am actually going to mail my Home Depot card back to corporate and tell them what they can do with it. No answers the phone, when they do they just put you on hold without saying a word. Very disappointing.

I ordered a Weber genesis S435 stainless steel grill natural gas from this home depot on July 3 with the written agreement that the grill would be assembled. On July 23 after many delays they advised that it may be delivered on July 26 3 pieces! ( Unassembled). I am in the processing of concealing this order as they cannot deliver product as agreed upon. They are not very apologetic and are giving me a hard time with this process. This will be the last time I ever patronize The Home Depot. Horrible Experience. It's worth paying a little more at any other place.

I ordered a toilet seat and was told i could pick it up curbside if i wanted. I agreed. this is during the COVID -19 pandemic. I called again at 5:30 pm since the store would close at 6pm and was told pick up was until 8 pm and i would be contacted to pick up by 8 pm. At 7:30 i received a text that my order was cancelled. I had already thrown out the old toilet seat. The store was closed. I called 1-800-430-3376 customer service and was left on hold. They never picked up the phone. I gave up after an hour.
