I’ve been going to Suzan Salon for 20 years! I moved from Staten Island to Manchester NJ a few years ago & I still continued to come back every 5 weeks! The BEST STYLIST & SALION Ever! Reasonable priced & pampered at the same time! You feel at home when you’re there & they treat you like family! Clean & up to date on everyt hair style & product ! Brides makeup etc done right in her beautiful salon! I LOVE SUZANA & the girls!!!

I go to Suzann’s hair salon I highly recommend coming to Suzann’s hair salon . I come here twice a week for the last few years. They have the best customer service and you my hair wonderful I’m always posting on Instagram and Facebook. It is the greatest place to come and relax and get your hair done..

The best hair dresser in Staten IslandI have been coming here for so long and the place is so clean the people are very friendly. Suzana is the best.The prices are very reasonable and I’m alway happy with their work. I will recommend this place to everyone.

Absolutely the WORST experience I’ve had at a salon. Let’s list the reasons why:-When I walked in, not a single person greeted me to even say “hi, how are you? What time is your appointment”. Nothing. Instead, after a few minutes the assistant just told me to sit in a chair and she’ll start on me. I think her name was Klea.-When I showed the assistant the image of the hair style I wanted and the headpiece I brought in, her exact words were “Why would you wear THIS? This is soooooo outdated. No one wears this anymore.” Not really any of your business, nor is that a way to speak to a paying client but ok….-While curling my hair, she was more focused on screaming across the salon, having side conversations about a restaurant in Brooklyn or staring at her cell phone, to notice she was burning my hair.-Upon noticing the birthmark on my scalp, she acted so disgusted and told me “it scared her.”-Mid way through curling my hair, she passed me off to the makeup artist. The makeup artist, Mirjeta was a gem. I would recommend visiting her, just not at this salon.-When it was time to complete my hair, I was told Suzana, the owner, would be doing it. When I sat in her hair, I saw she put on her jacket and walked out without even bothering to let me know. I sat there for at least 10 minutes not knowing what would happen.-When she came back, she just said she’ll eat and then do my hair. Not a problem, I know how it can get considering my mother also owns a salon (in CT) and when she’s busy she doesn’t have time to eat but she will at least communicate with her clients unlike Suzana.-After eating, Suzana came and immediately starts working on my hair without even saying hello or asking what style I’d like. She only spoke to complain about my extensions not matching my hair. I explained that at 6 months pregnant, I was not able to cut or color my hair in that time period. (Side note: I’m from Montenegro, Suzana is from Albania - in both countries/cultures, it is very well known that cutting your hair while pregnant is looked down upon/superstition. So she should have understood that)-While doing my hair, she spotted a grey hair. She came with scissors and told me she’ll be cutting it off. I told her “No, don’t cut my hair.” She responded “No hunny I have to.” So again I told her no. Her: “It looks bad, you can’t pluck it. I have to cut it.” So again I told her “No I’m pregnant don’t cut my hair” And once more she tried to tell me she’ll cut it until I had to raise my voice and turn the chair.-Being almost 7 months pregnant, I got very emotional and started crying in the chair. She didn’t seem to notice and I guess now tried to be friendly by asking how long I was married and if I had children. I told her just the one I’m pregnant with. At this point she played stupid, pretending as if I hadn’t told her multiple times in the past few hours that I was pregnant. Also, you can very easily tell I’m pregnant, looking at my belly. So now she says “ohhhh that’s why you don’t want me to cut your hair.” Great observational skills right there.-On top of this all, the salon was not very clean. Brushes full of hair, not cleaned between clients. Dust bunnies all over the floor.There was not a single pleasant moment during my hair styling in this experience. I’ve never felt more unwelcome at a salon. How women keep coming here is beyond me. I can only imagine they had better experiences than I did. This review was difficult for me to write and I debated on whether or not I should write it for almost a week now. With both of my parents being business owners, I understand how hurtful a bad review can be. In this case, I hope it will help others who consider this salon to beware of the horrible customer service or at the very least to open Suzana’s eyes to how poorly she treats her clients.Service: Hairstyling

The service is great the workers are so sweet welcoming and helpful with everything. The prices are amazing and we'll priced for the service . The workers take very good care of you . And make sure you leave happy and satisfied. I definitely recommend coming here . The best place to be .

I have been all over Staten Island trying to find the perfect place for my hair. I honestly was never happy with anyone until I came to Suzana's. I've been coming to Suzana's for few years now and will not let anyone touch my hair except them. Suzana and the staff are all amazing. Suzana is an artist. She is the absolute best. She truly listens to you and takes time to transform your hair into perfection. It's very rare that you'll find a stylist that actually cares about the outcome of your hair. Not only is the environment always welcoming and fun, it's clean and professional. They run on time which is important for keeping with my busy schedule and always make me feel special. So, if you are looking for amazing hair styling, cut and coloring this is your place to go for your hair! I highly recommend anyone to try them out! You will not be disappointed!

The ladys in the salon have litterary golden hands ,they do a great job and they don't rush you ,they make you feel your importance and take their time for you. Last time for a wedding my hair and makeup was better than the brides!!

I had done my hair here previously with my sister in law and loved it, so we decided to make another appointment for an upcoming wedding. Suzana strongly urged (almost forced) us each to leave $100 deposit so, fine, we did. Unfortunately, we had a death in the family two days prior to our appointment. When we called to cancel because we no longer were going to attend the wedding (as the funeral was now that Saturday), she accused us of being liars , was rude and disrespectful over the phone. She told us that we needed to come in person and to prove that we had a death because so many people are liars. We even offered to use that deposit for another appointment and she said no! We live in Brooklyn and it's an inconvenience to go to Staten Island just to show her "proof." My mother-in-law, who lives near the salon, went to speak to her on our behalf and please reconsider and Suzana was rude and brushed her off and said "I don't give back deposits" unless we came there ourselves and proved we haven't done our hair and makeup elsewhere. So of course we drove there and showed her the obituary and she simply said "I don't care, I don't care" and threw the money onto the counter and walked away . She is rude and disrespectful!!! AVOID THIS PLACE , PLUS ITS OVERPRICED AND SHE LIES ABOUT HER PRICES!

So, let me start I made an appointment went there on time when I entered the salon the owner gave me a look like she will do my hair for free, felt very unwelcomed. Waited there for 45 min. No one came to apologize for the waiting time.in between my waiting time came one lady they took her right away it looked like she is their regular client. So after that, I left. Didn't want to waste my time any longer they didn't seem like they will take me anytime soon, I Will never go back and ladies if you don't respect your time and your money make an appointment in this salon One more thing on the phone they were nice but that's it

I came in to ask how much would it be for a blow out, they never asked me what time was my appointment. They took my child and began to work on her hair, half through she asked me what time was my appointment. When I informed her that I didn’t know we needed an appointment, she told me she couldn’t finish. She proceeded to try and finish while also doing a horrible job on her hair.
