I typically do my own taxes and last year I decided to seek professional prepared. I was unhappy with the company I chose and decided to try STFS. Jessica was very thorough, professional, and personable. She not only prepares your taxes but educates you. From start to finish the process was simple and convenient . I’m very happy that I chose Story Tax & Financial Services. I will definitely be returning. You will not be disappointed!

Had a wonderful experience filling my taxes @ story Tax & financial services. They have an app organizer for your taxes which is user friendly and all the information you need and sent is right threw the app… also big shout out to her financial services she recognized that there wasn’t no taxes taking out from 1 of my brackets which prior tax people failed to mention and never caught and thanks to her I got that issue resolved .. I would highly recommend this financial services to the public

I scheduled an appointment days out and then the office waited until the day before to cancel. And the cancellation was either because of a last minute trip, or failure to update their calendar. I called multiple times and no one could bother to speak to me until the day of the appt.

Story Tax & Financial Services has been the most phenomenal tax prep experince I have ever had in all aspects. My journey in filing my taxes has always made me feel uneasy until now. When I first began, I had my mom do my taxes with her tax preparer and I did not understand the process of how it was done and her tax preparer would process it wrong at times stating I owed money when I didn't for example. So after that frustration I decided to get help from a friend and they were not completely clear on how to do it and one does not get their highest refund. So then I finally decided to invest in a tax preparer myself last year. I choice H&R black because it was close and I wanted to go on person. I paid a high price only to leave feeling confused about how my taxes was processed. I did not feel comfortable to ask as many questions about what was happening on the screen because when I would, the preparer would quickly answer and then change the subject to ask me questions regarding my personal life. I left feeling like I had not understood the full process of my taxes filed, I did not get my questions answered concerning my other taxes, and I was not taught how to navigate the profile that I had online despite it was in person. Now coming to Story Tax was such a different experince. I was hesitant at first because it was not close and the service was not in person but it was the best choice I made. I left feeling like I understood how my taxes was processed, all my questions was answered, I was instructed on how to use the website over a phone call, when I got out he website it was super efficient and easy to navigate (it felt like when you trying to get somewhere and you don't even have to wait for the train). On top of that I got the highest refund and the customer service from Jessica was outstanding. She is transparent, focused, professional, patient, respectful, and fantastic to work with. She is informed and knows what she is doing! Hands down, highly recommend. My loyalty is sealed!

As a first-time customer, I was a little hesitant because I’ve been going to the same person to do my taxes for almost a decade. After a few minutes, I realized I made the right decision by switching to Story Tax & Financial Services. When I first arrived, I pulled out my excel sheet of deductions and my 20+ tax documents.
Jessica, the owner was professional and didn’t seem overwhelmed by my return. After my 1-hour appointment lasted 4 hours because of the complexity of my return (multiple properties, jobs, deductions, etc.), I felt SO BAD. However, she never got upset, didn’t complain, or get annoyed. In fact, she made jokes, laughed, and exemplified the genuine characteristics of a true professional. I know she didn’t plan on spending her Friday night (7pm-11pm) with me but her exceptional service just guaranteed my business for life! To top it all off, my refund was the highest I ever received. I highly recommend Story Tax & Financial Services.
