Staten Island truck driver is useless and uncooperative. Refused to take my year old couch because I washed the arm and it was still damp. He would not give me his name nor his supervisor's name. Found them to lack a work ethic and has turned me off in donating to them again.

I’ve been coming here for a long time and I always find at least one thing to buy here so I like this Salvation Army. But recently the prices are going up and all used CDs are $12 here while they’re $2 at goodwill.

Salvation Army store is Grasmere, Staten Island -- I found the staff very helpful as I was donating a lot of items. Seamless drop off & easy to get tax receipts . Also this store is VERY busy -- a lot of people getting their clothes, household goods and furniture at reasonable prices -- a real help to Staten Islander during these difficult economic times. Keep up the great work!!

Super helpful staff at the Staten Island (Grasmere) Salvation Army Store. I was donating a lot of clothes and items from my Uncle's estate -- and the manager (Rosemary -- she goes by Roe) and the guys in the back of the warehouse couldn't have been more helpful. Also -- I noticed that this Family Store is ALWAYS busy-- a lot of people getting the clothes, household items and furniture they need at prices they can afford. Two thumbs up for the Salvation Army Store on Staten Island for their hard work in helping out Staten Islanders during these difficult economic times.

This is one of my favorite stores. The managers and staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Over the years have shown great professionalism and courtesy.Even now despite being bombarded with a slew of migrants who have been attending the store they continue to do so.The migrants are extremely aggressive, make a mess, fight with the regular customers and each other and make a giant mess. The police respond regularly when they are there. I can imagine they must be afraid. I know I am when they are there. Many of my friends and customers (including myself) are being driven away when they are there.

This place needs to be investigated, very rude store managers yelling at customers and the employess, I'm sorry but that's very bad for business, second prices are way over priced they are asking $4 for used dvds meanwhile you can buy them brand new for $1 at the dollar tree, they are asking $200 for a used bicycle that you can buy brand new at walmart for less than $100, the prices on the furniture is ridiculously way over priced you can buy brand new furniture for the same prices they are asking, sorry but do not buy from them I've been to other salvation armys that have better affordable prices than them, the store is always kinda empty I can see why, this place needs some looking into and definitely needs new manager's! God bless

Needed to get a quick outfit for work and they were closed… which is surprisingly because google said they are open until 7pm. Companies truly need to update their stores hours of operations because a worker told they close at 6:40pm. Change the damn hours so people don’t waste their time driving here!!!

The saddest Salvation Army Thrift Store I’ve visited. Not much stock, absurdly overpriced tech-a 7 year old pre-“Smart TV” era Samsung TV for $199 at a time when a larger NEW 4K UHD TV can be had for that price. High prices all around from clothing to kitchen equipment.During a time of inflated prices, shame on this store for raising its prices too, since they pay nothing for what they sell.I saw a response from someone associated with Salvation Army to other reviews that mention their ridiculously high prices. This response stated that they “believe their prices are competitive.”News flash-they are not. And since this store has multiple reviews that mention their pricing, telling customers they are “wrong” in their assessment of the prices is a great way to drive customers away.

This is truly the most expensive salvation army family store I've ever been too and I've been into a lot of them in many states. Their prices are ridiculous I just went and tried to buy a used DVD they want $4. average price is about two bucks everywhere else it's a DVD not a Blu-ray and it's not Gold guys wake up stop ripping people off you're getting the stuff for free
