Honestly disgusting how they have been saying that the ac was being worked on for months at this point and it has yet to be fixed, it’s ridiculous and it’s like I can’t even finish my set cause I’m overheating after being in there for 10 minutes. Hope they can fix this issue or I’ll have to cancel my membership

I lovee this gym! I contemplated joining for years and I really don't know why I waited. It's clean, well kept, staff are welcoming, members are polite and they have so many machines. I do not have a single complaint heck it even smells nice!

They really need to update this place. Especially the bathrooms. They are really dated. Look at the pic of the ceiling fan. It’s never cleaned

busy all the time their limited on machines , some machines they only have a single machine of specific workouts which are always occupied by people on their phones , only a few benches, i would highly recommend not going here

Never had a bad experience but today came here after my overnight shift to workout and waited for about 15 minutes and no one even came to open the gym saw a lot of people leave frustrated and best believe I was one of them.

Zero cell service, which I understand is not their fault. However, WiFi never works. Maybe worked once in last 3 years. You have to download songs to your phone to even listen to music. I only come here when I have to. It’s a black hole

This is going to be a nightmare once that day care center opens up next door. it's already horrible for parking certain hours of the day. If it wasn't for that and the fact there's only one cross cable machine, I'd give it 5 stars. Definitely clean and I love that there are 4 squat racks. I just wish they would take the screens off the treadmills. They don't work and you have a nice view of outdoors.

I used to go to a different gym on the island (Hint: it's named after a city in California) and if you read it's reviews (just look up any of their three locations), you'll know why I'm now in search of a new gym.Can't say for any other locations but this Tottenville location is smaller than I thought but at the same time, it's super clean and the staff who signed me up was super chill (Started with a V).I not only value how clean this location is but the other gym goers are very respectable about the equipment. Weights are racked where there need to be and everyone keep to themselves for the most part. Great gym. Can't wait for future visits.

This gym is very well kept and organized. Everything is clean and up to date. The front desk and rest of staff is very attentive and helps with anything needed. Been going here for years and never had any complaints. Also cant forget they make the best protein shakes

If you are looking to have a positive workout, look no further. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The equipment is in great shape and I am always conformable working out. Give this Retro a try, you will be happy.
