I love this PetSmart. Their dog grooming services are top notch. They also have doggie day care. It's really a nice facility. I will not be going back to the Forest Ave location ever again for my dog grooming. This location does an amazing job.

PetSmart should hire a person whose job it is to provide coverage for the front desk of grooming and daycare intake at all times. No multitasking. No disappearing in the back. The front desk should never be left unmanned. When I got there a couple was there with their dog, grumbling that they had been waiting too long. From the time I walked up, they'd waited 15 minutes before someone came from the back. When the woman was done taking their dog I called to her, "Hi I'm here to --" and the woman just walked to the back and let the door shut behind her. I was standing at the grooming section, and I find it difficult to believe she did not see or hear me. Another two women were grooming a dog and it was as if they were in front of a one-way mirror (instead of a window) and couldn't see a customer trying to get their attention. I paid $500 for daycare and grooming and I waited 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge I existed. The phones kept ringing and no one came to answer them. I even called to see if that would lure someone to the front desk, but nope! A nice gentleman finally came from the front area into the back and assisted me. This is terrible customer service! Having said that, Anthony, the groomer, did a FABULOUS job grooming my dog and he was courteous and professional. The young lady who did my initial intake for daycare was always professional, attentive and kind (unfortunately she was not there today) and it appears the dogs in the hotel are well taken care of. I would take my dog back, but I hope PetSmart hires another staff member to ensure excellent customer service.

Extremely disappointed that main entrance,near Banfield dog hospital, has been "out of order" for over 4 months. No reason nor effort to repair the doors has been forthcoming.

my biggest and only problem with the store, is the fact they closed the entrance to the pedestrians. And now if I want to stop by to pick up something real quick I have to either take the dangerous trek up the parking lot ramp where cars are constantly driving up and down the ramp. or I walk all the way to the other side and have to take the stairs! this is very inconsiderate of them. and it goes to show how careless and lazy these people really are!! I'd rather go elsewhere since I'm being inconvenienced anyway!

I would not use this locations pick up at store option. This all started when my order was accidently sent to the hylan location. After recieving my ready for pick up order email i called to make sure it was actually there due to me originally ordering the item to forest ave.. when i called i was sent to 4 different departments and i was put on hold for about 40 minutes in total. Once i was sent to the correct person i was told that my order was not there and that they were sold out. When i asked them why i was sent a reqdy to pick up message i was told that they picked the wrong item originally. I was then told that they are refunding me but this is unfair. I would have preferred a gift card because now i have to wait a few days for the refund to be processed. Im in a emergency situation my fish tanks filter is broken and i need to replace it immediately. If i knew ordering from petsmart would cause me this much of a hassle i would have just went somewhere else

We were looking for an inflatable e-collar and we wanted to make sure your store in PetSmart The Boulevard on Hylan Blvd in Staten Island had it in stock before we went over there as we were all the way in the opposite side of the island and you so kindly took the time to check it for us first that you had the LAST ONE IN STOCK! The store is very well stocked and clean. The staff is always very helpful and kind. Highly recommend going to this place. They also have in-house Veterinary service should you need that.

The entrance doors have been broken for weeks forcing customers to walk upstairs along a very deserted area. Not worth the risk with the crime increase overall. I'll take my business elsewhere until the problem is fixed. A big corporation can't fix sliding doors for weeks???? Ridiculous!

Super! We came for the first time to PetSmart for Shiba Inu grooming: bath and brush with FURminanor to reduce shedding, and Shibas are shedding horribly, I can say it was worth to come! Thank you Bradley for your awesome job! ?

I think this place has staffing issues because shelves are often out of stock and half empty, doesn't seem like they are restocking fast enough. People who do work there are nice enough except for the life of me I cannot understand why there are never any shopping carts at the entrance... Even when store is empty

Online service doesn’t work!! I had only one order but PetSmart take my money twice, I asked money back and PetSmart refund my money but after couple days again PetSmart take my money!! Something wrong!! Online service is very very bad!!!! I am so sad , and open dispute between PetSmart and my bank.

Grooming department is by far the worst and most heartless people I've ever encountered!!! I had an issue of getting up to date vaccines which I had was missing one and in interim I did produce it!!! Anthony who was helping someone else and not the one grooming my dog...guess was helping to check in , turned and walks to other customer no customer service ...now he stated felt unsafe ...cause I said I hope when you need a bath for your dog preparing for a gathering after your mother passes and needed a bath you would understand....yes I was upset ... so from that they refuse my dog a bath !!! He felt uncomfortable and unsafe ...really I think he needs to learn customer service BIG TIME....as well as Betsy and the the store manager Sherri .... Stay away from these groomers they are not professional in the least!!! And I will state it again if your ever in a position as mine they should reflect on compassion which they all lack!!! WORST GROOMER EVER ANTHONY...BETSY oh and the manager Sherri .....STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM AND PETSMART!!!!Then they want to cover their backs and i get an email appointment was cancelled with someone else name as the groomer!!! Good cover up!!

Sick Animals!. Dead animals! The birds are curled up clearly Shaking and nearly falling off the porch. Very sad and disgusting. Nothing is being done and more birds will die soon.I wish I could attach video of the poor birds shaking and suffering badly. Very heartbreaking.

It's the first time that I went there with a bunch of people from The JCC. It was on a Thursday and I was very unfamiliar with the place.? When I went in this place it has it all. There was birds fish cats and dogs. Also they were guinea pigs too. And all the way in the back they have this hotel day care center for dogs. There was also one for cats too. I looked in the window and there were a bunch of dogs playing around. Some of them were Huskies and rottweilers. But I didn't see no golden retrievers. It had this zoo feeling when I came in the store and I like it. I would like to come here again just so I can see the cats and the dogs. I recommend you go to this place if you want to find something for your pet.???

All in one spot for my pets needs and services. I love that this place is next to my house. From veterinarian to food supplies I come here. I am so thankful they opened this convenient spot area here.
