I placed an order to be delivered same day between 9-11, I had to go at 11:20, and NEVER even saw the product. And they fully charged me because of their cancellation policy. Crazy right? Was on me that they didn’t deliver on time.

Ordered a rental wheelchair and then had to cancel before it was supposed to be delivered. Ordering and cancelation process was smooth and easy. Customer service was available on Saturday to handle my cancellation request; and they were friendly and professional. While we didn't end up using the service, very happy with our overall experience with this company. Would definitely use them again when the situation calls for it.

Superior service. I originally rented an electric scooter by phone from Texas but later I was told some buses may not take a scooter on the bus because of the way they anchor the chair down on the bus. So I had to change my order days before my trip to NYC. I changed my order to a regular wheelchair and NYC Mobility changed it with not problem. They delivered the wheelchair on time and picked up the chair with no issues. Excellent service and keep up the good work.

NYC Mobility Rentals is not the company you want to use if you are looking for a reliable source for renting adaptive equipment. I rented a portable Hoyer lift, paid, and signed a rental agreement with them well in advance of Thanksgiving, and they did not show up with the lift.I specifically asked for the delivery between 9-11 am, as they ask you on the website to make that choice when you order. There was never any communication from them to let me know that they were not going to arrive on time. I sent two emails that morning asking them to confirm. Finally, in the afternoon, after 2 pm, well after 11, I received a phone call saying they were refunding me my money because they did not bring me the lift on time. I explained then that it did not matter, that my family member was in a wheelchair that required the lift and that they were going to need it for the next four days. The representative and I then became disconnected, or so I thought. Apparently, he hung up because when I called back, the man with the Guyanese accent did not answer the phone. I left a detailed message pleading with him please to bring the Hoyer lift, but they did not, and we did not have it over the holiday, which made it very challenging for my family.What this company fails to understand is that their lack of care, concern and unreliable behavior endangers the safety of the disabled and their caregivers. The service they provide is extremely important, and I would never use them again, and I do not recommend that anyone does. What an absolutely terrible experience.

They delivered the scooter a little late not that big of a deal. But when they delivered it to my motel nobody called me to tell me I was at the motel waiting. They just dropped it at the front desk and left. So no instructions on how to use it. We were there on vacation meaning I was going to have to take it apart to get it in a taxi. I brought it to my room and after a bout an hour got it apart and back together. Made sure it worked and went to bed. Next morning got up to do our touring had a schedule that I needed to keep. The scooter would not move. Ended up pushing it down to the lobby with my daughters help. Called NYC Mobility. By the way these people will answer the phone but never call back you have to keep calling them. So he gave me instructions over the phone on what to do I followed his instructions did not work. He then said we will send someone out to fix it. He did not understand the fact that I did not have time to wait for someone to repair it I needed it now. This situation was a big failure I never got to even use it other than to drive it to my room. I was charged the full rental price by them and the scooter never served it purpose.

After searching for days we came across NYC Mobility Rentals. Gabriel and Jonathan were kind and courteous. The young man who dropped off the wheelchair to me at my home, Jarrett, was respectful and courteous as well. Being 64 I hold respect to the highest calibre of a person. NYC Mobility Rentals met my expectations and exceeded them by far. I would highly recommend NYC Mobility for your medical rental needs. Thank you Gabriel, Jonathan and Jarrett you guys made an older lady regain some trust that good people are still out there.Lee & Bill Murphy

Within hours of calling the equipment I needed was delivered that same day ahead of schedule. Quality wheel chair and a congenial representative,
