Mike is the best trainer you can ask for. His fitness knowledge and patience for his clients is truly special. I have been training with Mike for 6 months now. The progress I have made is absolutely amazing. Sometimes I cannot even believe it. I have seen improvements in all parts of my body. I have improved both mentally and physically. I came to Mike to learn advanced calisthenics and to prepare myself for my future career. It was by far one of the BEST decisions I have ever made. I look forward to every session because I know I am learning from a true expert and someone that truly cares about each and every one of his clients. I highly recommend MRG fitness to anyone looking for a trainer.

Mike has changed my life and hopefully extended it! 15 months ago, on the advice of my daughter, another client of Mike's, I decided to get back in shape. My goal was to get back to my weight in my 30s before I reached 60. Well, I'm not quite there. I've lost 30+ pounds, not just due to him but changing my diet. I have about 10 pounds to go. I do, however, attribute my strength and conditioning to Mike. I don't recall another time in my life where I was in better shape and as strong as I am today. I'm hoping to see my 6-pack (and I'm not talking about beer!) by the end of the summer! Mike pushes me every session. Thanks!

Mike is one of the best trainers in the industry. He has the patience of a saint and is truly committed to his clients form, technique, strength, and growth. Mike has opened my mind towards my own fitness journey and has been helping me achieve my goals while learning so much about how the body moves and how to overcome various mobility and fitness obstacles. Anybody who gets the opportunity to train with Mike is very lucky!

Mike is one of the best trainer in the industry. I have worked with Mike for years and my fitness has level has excelled since working with him. He is patient, knowledgeable and a great teacher. He makes all his client feel at home in his gym. If you can't work him privately he has the best "boot camp" class around. I would highly recommend him!

Mike is hands down the most attentive, innovative, and effective trainer I have had the pleasure of working with. His flexibility, motivation, skill, and overall attitude has helped me immensely. From identifying initial goals to modifying exercises, Mike has promoted my physical fitness and abilities to their peak. Mike genuinely cares about his clients. The first visit he fully assesses who he is training to gauge at what level each person is at. Then he tailors how he trains you based on this assessment, anything you hope to work on, and takes into consideration any health conditions that you may have to cater to what that may be. This is something so essential to fitness and a fitness journey that I have not found anywhere else except for MRG Fitness. It is truly an unique experience that takes into account the whole person when training. He even keeps track of your progress to be able to show where you've come from along a fitness journey, which puts into perspective everything that you're working on. From my personal experience I had seen improvements in my quality of life thanks to his educated and holistic training sessions that truly take into account everything.

I’ve been training with Mike at MRG since 2009. He trained me through my wedding, my marathon, pregnancy #1 and pregnancy #2. All four scenarios required very different training methods. He tailors his methods to your goals and abilities. He’s also clear that you can’t train your way out of a bad diet. There are no false promises here.

When it comes to fitness, I have always had problems with inconsistency. I have had 2 different gym memberships, and been to 3 other personal trainers locally, yet after a few months with each I would give up. Mike has been my personal trainer for a year and a half now.
