August 2024 by po po
On August 6, I visited the bank branch to make a deposit of $2500 in cash. However, after the teller processed the deposit, she informed me that only $2000 had been received. I was taken aback and decided to double-check the money myself. Upon counting, I confirmed that only $2000 was indeed there, although I was certain I had started with $2500.
Feeling perplexed, I politely requested to review the security camera footage to understand what might have happened. I suggested completing the $2000 deposit first and addressing any discrepancies later. Unfortunately, the teller felt accused and was refuse to assist further. When I sought help from another teller, I was met with a similar response, with the situation being deemed a serious accusation.
Despite my efforts to remain calm and explain the situation, the response from the tellers left me feeling like I was being treated unfairly. In such challenging moments, true customer service should extend beyond mere greetings and smiles. It is during these times that the character of a service team truly shines through.
After the disagreement with the tellers, I left the branch feeling unsettled. I deposit my 2000 dollars to my primary bank Chase. Upon returning home and recounting the events, I realized that I had made a mistake in my own counting. However, this realization, while significant, felt beside the point given the response and treatment I had received at the bank
If I were in the teller's position, I would have handled the situation with empathy and understanding. I would have suggested waiting for the manager to address the concern and offered to review the security footage together to ensure transparency and customer comfort.
The dismissive and defensive attitude displayed by the three tellers was disheartening. Customers should feel empowered to raise concerns or doubts without fear of being treated as if they have committed a crime.
Furthermore, during my interaction with the tellers, I was disappointed that the bank's platform staff did not intervene or show any interest in understanding the situation. Despite the escalating tension and the clear need for assistance, their lack of involvement added to the sense of frustration and helplessness in resolving the issue effectively. I have decided not to return to that branch.

I am incredibly grateful to Citizens for their exceptional help during a critical time for my significant other. As a visitor from out of town, I faced a daunting challenge in accessing necessary bank information to apply for urgent medical care. Charlie, the bank manager, and his dedicated staff at Citizens went above and beyond to assist me promptly and efficiently, ensuring we could navigate the process smoothly.
Charlie's leadership and the compassion shown by him and his team truly made a difference during this stressful time. Their professionalism and commitment to customer service are commendable. Thank you so much to Charlie and all the staff at Citizens for their outstanding support and willingness to help customers in need, no matter where they come from. I highly recommend Citizens not only for their banking services but also for the exceptional care and dedication they demonstrate to their community.

I come here for my drive thru transactions. Never have been inside. They only have one drive thru atm. If u go non rush hour, there is plenty of room and parking. The drive thru area is well lit. Cameras to keep you feeling safe. The atm is a little out dated. You can only receive your money in $20's. Cash and checks are able to be deposited.
