Went to Honda of Staten Island for an oil change on my 2024 Honda civic and they clearly don’t know what they are doing they almost made me blow my engine. The filter fell out and the oil poured out right afterwards. Terrible service. Extremely unprofessional. If I could give zero stars I would. Honda you need to have more professional workers working on the cars.

I came in for an oil change. I was taken care of by Jeff Pasenkof. He went over how long my warranty was good for and informed me about a recall I had to bring my car back for. The whole process was quick and easy.

Horrible! After passed the inspection, I drove my car here for drive shaft recall. I got the call from the service center, they said my wheel speed sensor is bad. I need to pay $500 to repair it. I’m sure it didn’t have any problem before. It must the mechanic damaged it. After that, my ABS signal light is always on because of the damaged speed sensor. If I know they will damage my car, I must won’t come here for recall!

Its a shame that I took my car here yesterday because an emission system problem ive been having for couple days brand new car and they werent able to fix it. Not only did I waste my time coming to brooklyn but also wasted my money. If you guys cant fix it just let me know. Brought it again to bayridge honda hopefully they do the right thing but I doubt it. Want to say thanks to kevin and jason for being professional but issue wasnt resolved. Update bayridge honda couldnt fix it told me I needed an appointment because they were very busy. Towed my vehicle back to honda of staten island where its currently being repaired once again. Kevin again called me stated they had found the problem with my car and provided me with a loaner. Still disappointed as I had to wait a week or so for a loaner and waste money. Thank you again and hopefully my car gets fixed asap second time around. Update again got my car couple days ago running smoothly no problems as of yet. Thank you Kevin and also for removing two small scratches on my car.

My vehicle was towed to Honda of Staten Island's Service Department by AAA on Sunday, August 6 after it broke down while I was passing through S.I. The entire time Honda of S.I. had my vehicle, they could not provide an expected completion date for my service. On August 11, I was told that my car was ready for pick up... Yay! But a short time later, I received another call saying that well, actually, it wasn't... Their bad. A specific tool was needed for my repair that they didn't have on hand, and it was expected within a week. That turned out to be false.Despite the length of time I was without my vehicle (which ended up being nearly a month), I was never offered a loaner and had to inquire about one; according to my service advisor, I was put on a list, but kept getting told that the dealership only has 10 and none had come back. I asked if the reason for the loaners not coming back was because others were experiencing long wait times for their vehicles as well, and my service advisor, Jason, said yes, that he'd even had clients who had waited months for their repairs to be completed. That was shocking to hear.On August 30, I was told that they still did not have the tool and they hoped to have it by the next week. But on August 31, my service advisor called to inform me that my vehicle was ready for pick up. The morning of September 1, as I approached my vehicle to drive home, I immediately noticed that a piece of the door trim was missing. No one had informed me of this. When I confronted both my service advisor and the manager on duty, they first said they hadn't been sure whether the damage occurred while the car was in their possession, then blamed it on recent car break-ins they'd experienced in their lot. Jason assured me he would order the part and call me when it was ready to be installed, asking for my patience as the Labor Day holiday was coming up.I received no follow up from Jason until I left messages for him on September 11 and 12. On September 12, he called me back to say the part was "on order", and it was quite apparent that the part had not been ordered until I reached out. He blamed it on someone else dropping the ball, which is really disappointing, since he'd personally assured me on September 1 that he would take care of it. Jason had presented himself as being sympathetic to my situation and wanting to provide excellent customer service, but between him NOT alerting me to the damage to my car (which he admitted he should have done) and then basically lying to cover his behind about not ordering the part as he'd promised, I cannot bring myself to say anything positive about the service I received. And let's not forget that, because of this missing part, the interior of my car door has been exposed to the elements for an extended period of time... But clearly, Honda of S.I. doesn't care one bit.I only had my vehicle taken here to avoid an additional cost of having it towed elsewhere; I now regret not spending the extra money. My time and peace of mind are worth way more. Avoid this service center if you can. Once I get this part, I plan to never deal with any of these folks ever again.

I bought my first car online. I was just curious and wanted to make sure my car was fine. I went to the Honda repair shop. Ask a staff member to check if anything is wrong with it. After 30 minutes, he came back. The car was fine, but he told me there were a couple things wrong with it that needed fixing. I’m thinking it’s not that much, maybe $600 or $500, but it cost me almost $1500. I was only lucky because I had my stimulus check. Every six months, I get my oil changed. They always want to charge me an arm and a leg or find something they can add on. Especially when brakes wear out five months later, they cost at least $500. When I need an oil change again, they come back with something else; they say my brakes need changing again. If they don’t get me with that, they say I need replacement sway bars or ripped axle replacements that cost well over $2000, and then they throw extra stuff at me too. Showing the cooling and other stuff that needs to be recommended while I decline the offer. I just did the oil change. I went to another person who’s non-Honda for a second opinion, and they said I don’t have any issues.

Team here is great, dependable. Told me everything I need without the pressure of doing it here. Answered all my questions about the issue, told me all my options. Complementary wifi, coffee, water so I could work while I waited at the available tables. Clean single person bathrooms.

This place is pure trash, and that disrespectful manager Jeff is going out of line!!! I over heard him calling Arabic people sand n***ers and scammers when I was trying to figure why my bill was so high!! When they ended up discounting my bill when they found I was right the employees starting giving me an attitude and it’s not a good place to get service on your vehicle when they’re ripping you off!!!! I’m gonna contact the BBB and Department of Justice for the discrimination that goes on around here!!Services: Transmission

It was not good idea to deal with them but I had to because my car was still under warranty ….and even though they charged me 239 $ for diagnostic check for my Honda CRV AC ………the guy said will call me to tell me what is wrong …..I left the car on 7/3/2023 since 9 am and i thought I will get call by 1 pm to know what is the problem ….. but I did not get any call until 3:30 to tell me that the AC has pressure switch part need ti replaced and they can finished this day …..so I picked the car and rescheduled another appointment at 9 am on 7/5 …..they said it should be ready by the end of the day ……when I was on my may to pick the car ……I got call for second time that the car will not be ready so I had to leave the car for this day hoping they can finished …….and had to pay for my private transport to my job (overnight job) from my pocket as general transport will not be available …….next day I got the same answer answer for 3rd time …….the car is not ready and if I want i can pick the car without to be repaired ( r u kidding!)……so I asked to talk to the manager who promised me that will be ready by tomorrow Saturday( I took almost a week and should done in few hours of the same day) to get the job done ……..stay away from them if u can
