“Always clean, always busy, but they have the best flowers! Great for quick shopping trips but not for large shopping. If you have a big family Def grab some fruit and veggies but not for meat shopping as they only have meat in small packages. Great for Vegan or Vegetarian shopping!”

“Great deli..the owner "G" is really a cool dude. His son too is nice. The wife not so much, she works there at 3pm till closing so I always go before 3. She's miserable mean. But anyways go in mornings. Great prices on everything and "G" makes great sandwiches like blt bacon egg and cheese or hero sandwich. Lots of food on the sandwiches. Definitely go there.”

“Great place for traditional Italian American goods. However, their produce section leaves little to be desired. They refrigerate onions and garlic as well as other items that most likely shouldn't be refrigerated unless they weren't fresh.For the size of the place they do carry a lot of non-common items that you would like to see in the supermarket. The review deserves a 4.4 star but it's either above or below and nothing in between.”

I’m from Italy and I miss doing food shopping in Italy but when I’m there “la Bella” I feel like I’m shopping at the Conad. “Italians people knows what I’m talking about “. The only two things I would say 1 some times you should look at the exp dates and 2 they should have more gluten free stuff from Italy .”

“Probably considered as one of the best grocery stores to shop for your local spices (....according to Google anyway lol) along with preserved mixed fruit, passion fruit or pineapple jams, huge bottles of mango lassi drinks, packaged ginger cookies + tea biscuits, and snacks like Thala Guli (traditional Sri Lankan sweets made w/ sesame seeds, salt and jaggery like palm sugar) to munch on. Definitely seems like a great hidden gem among the Sri Lankan community within Staten Island. The cashier behind the counter is so kind, patient, humble and friendly. My friend N was just so excited to step inside Lanka Grocery to converse in Sinhalese (a dialect that makes her feel like home) with the staff member and so happy to discover all these snacks, sweets, and drinks that she once grew up with back in her home country.”

“Pretty good. I ordered the Okro soup and fufu although I didn't eat the fufu due to medical issues the Okro was delicious and worth the money. It also had more than enough pieces of meat although agin I couldn't eat due to medical issues .”

“The BEST cold cut sandwiches on the block, hands down. No matter whose making it. They always get it juuust right. Their meats are super fresh. Their ground beef will make you the most juiciest burger you ever had. It's something about the blend they use. It's perfect. Oh, and if you're pressed for time, they sell prepared food as well. Everything always tastes good. Their customer service is cordial, efficient, and professional. I like this store, and would recommend them to anyone.”
“I like that the seafood market sells both dry and wet sea scallops because you can clearly see the difference. Too many places nowadays are trying to pass off the chemically treated scallops as dry and they are terrible for pan searing.The aisles are neat and well stocked. The prices are a bit higher than the bigger supermarkets but it is a much easier experience. They have a good amount of items on sale each week which helps.If you are short like me you will have to get the attention of the deli staff or they will keep helping customers that are behind you.”
