These people are passionate about pets. Very reasonable prices. The waiting room is very crowded because of the popularity of this place. Another vet was going to charge me over 1000 dollars more for the same care to my pets. While there is no parking and there may be a crowd, it is definitely worth it

I brought my two dogs a Jack Russell and Chihuahua here to get dental cleaning. They both had severe plaque and tartar. He cleaned their teeth great. No more tartar or plaque. He is the cheapest in Staten Island. Many vets want to charge over $1,000 to clean their teeth. Dr. V charged between $500-$550. It was definitely worth it. I will return again if teeth need cleaning.

My dog name is blue he was 11 months old ,he began to have allergy so I took him to the Dr.to have him checked so the Dr. Says yes he has seasonal allergies so he gave me a prescription for it he told me to go to Costco it costed me 245.00 plus office visit 103.00 and I stared the med the same day twice a day as I was told and I don't like the reaction of the medicine he got very ancy,don't eat like before and he don't want water that much either before starting him on this medication he was happy going eating drinking ,so I have second thoughts about this dr.he don't let you speak nor ask questions and you can barely understand him when he talks thank God for his assistance,she is great .

Had to put down my dog sheedo he was very loved.. DR V helped us and was completely honest with us.. we knew it was time but it's never easy to say goodbye.. thanks to the staff workers I forgot her name but I am grateful for this vet clinic..

Went to get my cat neutered earlier this week & they were very quick !! The receptionist was very nice. 4 days later he's already recovered & back to his old self

You get the quality of service from the doctor depending how much they charge. The doctor is outdated. I would not expect much.

Dr.V is the best. My dog had a problem I went to 3 other vets paid so much money and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with my dog. I go to Dr. V tells me it's allergies gives her an injection that she needs once a month and she's been great. That office really loves animals they don't do it for the money. I don't know what I'm going to do when Dr. V retires lol.

The best of the best I was looking for a vet who is compassionate caring and attentive and I have found that in Dr V and forest animal hospital, I couldn’t be more greatful for how my cat and my family were treated I’m so thankful to the staff and Dr V for the care provided today & that I now have a primary vet for my cat and to know he’s in wonderful hands. Once again highly recommend to anyone in need of a vet who is absolutely wonderful, and again thank you to the staff and Dr V

doctor talked to me like i was a fucking idiot, kept calling me a woman when i am ever so clearly a male, didn't listen to a SINGLE WORD i told him about my cat. DIDNT check out the anus area of her where she is having issues, i kept explaining that she might have an anal gland issue and he literally just told me to feed her pumpkin....ALSO tried to claim that i am STARVING my cat (she is extremely tiny and her weight is low bc her body is extremely small) just took her temp and prescribed medication for her ear infection. NOT TO MENTION he has ALCOHOL just sitting in the check up room??? like is he drinking on the job??? absolutely BAFFLED at this experience and i WILL NOT be taking my pets here ever again bc of his disgusting attitude toward me as a person and my pet. completely DISGUSTED in this hospital.

Affordable! Nice staff my dogs surgery went very well. 1/7 of the cost that other vets were trying to charge!
