A little gem in the neighborhood. You can get good deals on some out of print books. Large assortment. Small section on free items. Coffee, teas and snacks and you can sit down to munch.

I’ve been going to this bookstore for years to say hi to my neighbors, and enjoy a little peace and quiet. They have great cafe assortment of pastries, food, drinks, and I love their night events too! Katie is the most warm hearted person you will meet on Staten Island!

I'm in love with used bookstores, and so glad that I was introduced to this gem! Not going to lie - I didn't expect to find a business like this in Staten Island, but I'm glad this borough continues to surprise me in all good ways. I'd expect to see this bookstore cafe in somewhere like in Ogunquit, Burlington, Bar Harbor, Austin, or Asheville? Super cute place with an interesting, eclectic selection of used books. They have a little coffee shop/cafe at the front - and there's an area where they have talks and live music on certain days. The people who work there are so incredibly friendly and helpful. I think there's a cute little outdoor area, but it was closed last time I visited. Hope to drop by here next time I'm in Staten Island!

I love visiting this place on a lazy day and just reading while I sit and drink whatever I want from the menu. They have amazing prices so it’s not an expensive trip out. They are also right by the St. George train stop which works well since I travel by public transportation. They have every type of book by day and amazing local performances by night. Love this place.

The thing I remember most about my experience with the everything goes but café is the people that work there. The ambience of the place was very relaxing and the service by the employees was highly above average in my opinion and I left there was a great feeling. I wish them nothing but the best of luck in the future and I will be back as a customer.

If you prefer antique books, this is not the store for you. The few books older than 1900 are firmly locked in a glass cabinet and the seller always seems too busy to open it for you.I waited 20 minutes for her to open it only to leave in frustration due to the incompetence a person who is confused as to whether she is running a cafe, performance venue, or a bookshop.

Incredible, cozy, and delicious time to spend many hours. The owners and workers are very pleasant and homey. This neighborhood store has been around for a while, and I'm happy to support it. Any time I have visitors come to the island, I always bring them here, and people are always happy leaving.

ETG is a nice, quiet coffeehouse with all the books and record albums the curious shopper or collector could desire. The coffee drinks and baked desserts are also excellent. I love ETG.

Hidden gem. Stumbled in by accident, had a great time and got a very good coffee and of course some amazing books. It's not too stuffed with articles so it's quality before quantity. The quiet atmosphere makes it very comfortable and you can definitely take your time and browse around a bit.
