The doctor and an assistant outside were both very helpful with regard to my test and sending the result to the bureau of motor vehicles. The first person I saw spoke in a monotone voice. And it was very difficult for me to do what he asked.I am eighty nine years old and needed a bit more help from him.

I have been going to this place for eye exam and glasses for 4 years now and the doctors changed over time. My favorite was still Dr. Botelho but too bad she left in 2021. Also, my recent visit (Dec 2023), the new doctor is so nice, however, the one who assisted me for glasses (first time having a female assisting me but I didn't get her name) was no good. You really feel like she doesn't want to work based on how she speaks and her body language. She also kept yawning in front of me, talking about professionalism. Joel is still the best.

I've been wearing glasses for many years, and as such have dealt with a great number of businesses. I can honestly say that I will never have to look for another place to have my eyes checked or purchase eyeglasses again. Starting with the customer service I've received, I'd like to state I've never felt so genuinely welcomed into an establishment as when I go into Davis Visionworks. Starting with Joel. Joel is kind, friendly and caring. He works with you trying to give you what you need and not just trying to sell you something you do not. When you go in to the store he makes you feel at home. I'd also like to give special attention to Michele. I've never dealt with Michele before and 1 day I had a bad bike accident. (Surprisingly the scratch resistance on the glasses held up very well.) I went in to see if they could be straightened out a bit and Michele took care of it instantly. About a week later 1 of my nose pads came off. I brought them back and saw Michele and she once again took my glasses and replaced both the nose pads, and gave them back with a smile. It's obvious where my family and will be getting our glasses from now on. Thank you Davis Visionworks for hiring valued employees such as these and for providing quality eyeglasses at a reasonable price.

Super smooth. Insurance was pulled upon our arrival . ( I was nervous because I couldn’t find my card)Doctor visit was prompt & Joel was extremely friendly and helpful. Got us all sorted out with no problems at all.

Went to VisionWorks in the SIMall yesterday for my yearly eye exam. Very friendly and courteous bunch of people.i personal dealt with Nichele and Joel who both went beyond in making me satisfied with my choices.

I have been using this store for a while. Affordable care, great options for glasses, really wonderful and attentive staff. Even when it’s busy, they move things along quickly to prevent long waits without me feeling rushed through a service.

I was in because my glasses needed a little repairing and Joel very quickly serviced me allowing me to sit and relax while he repaired them in a few short minutes. Being very courteous and caring during the process. I have been a client of Visionworks for approximately 8 years and Joel has always been the person who waits on me. Always the same manner along with very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Visionworks and doubly Joel.

Used to go to a different place in the mall, but my company got acquired by another, and they did not accept new insurance and this place does. They do not make any glasses on site, as the other spot did. I was given a promise date the day I was leaving for vacation, and when I told her that wouldn’t work and I’d probably try somewhere else, she said the promise dates are just an estimate and to call a few days before and they would be there. It is now the day before and still nothing. Very difficult to get someone on the phone. Also prices seem higher the other places for similar products and services.

From the ladies at the front desk to the doctor and everyone in between were amazing! Nothing is perfect in this world but this place is very close it. If I had to pick one thing to improve, it would be the frames. The selection ( at the Staten Island Mall) can use a little help.

When my husband told me that Vision Works was good, l didn’t know just how good it would be. He had his eyes tested about a month ago at the mall. My two daughters and l got our eyes tested yesterday, June 28,2023. The employees were extremely pleasant, accommodating, helpful, and informative. It is a welcoming establishment and we felt very comfortable. The doctor had a sense of humor making us feel like we were long time patients. He showed us what the back of our eyes look like in color and explained what we were viewing. We appreciated the information and the professionalism we experienced. Happy employees equals happy customers.
