My experience working with Lou and his daughter Michelle was highly disappointing and unprofessional. Their lack of accountability and disregard for basic client service was unacceptable. This office submitted my taxes late, resulting in unnecessary penalties, and when I sought to address the issue, my concerns were met with minimal communication. Phone calls and emails went largely unanswered, and at no point was an apology offered for their error. I am both surprised and dismayed by the level of disrespect shown, particularly given my long-standing relationship with their office. I strongly advise others to avoid this firm to prevent unnecessary stress and financial consequences.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. I used them for the first time this year for my Business and Personal filings. They went above and beyond , the whole team there, very helful.

I would give him negative stars if i could. Been going to this guy for over 20 years. Didn't have a problem until the past couple years when he and his subpar staff made major errors on my returns and has refused to correct their mistakes! He has REFUSED to respond to my calls, voicemail and emails for almost a year to try to rectify it! It is THE MOST unprofessional treatment I have ever received. I have been with this clown for over 20 years and he treats a loyal customer with zero regard and zero respect AND completely messed up my taxes. It is quite disgusting. He and his staff made the error and they won't fix it. They had all the information and for some unknown reason they did not document it! Then they tried to blame me, the person who is not an accountant. On what planet does that make sense? They were so rude and unprofessional to me and I am still flabbergasted about the whole thing. I have to now pay a REAL professional who knows what he's doing to fix Louis Cannizzaro's mistake! I cannot believe this man, who has been in business all these years and who I have trusted and been loyal to all this time and have RECOMMENDED people to, would have the NERVE to treat me like this. I practically begged him to just fix it. However it happened, please just fix it. This man won't even respond to me. You should be EMBARRASSED LOU! YOUR BEHAVIOR TOWARD ME IS DESPICABLE! And Michelle is unprofessional and rude as well. AND he won't even refund the fees that I paid him since he didn't prepare my taxes accurately and correctly for 3 years! I should pay him for costing me a now exorbitant amount of money and getting flagged by the IRS??? Absolutely disgusting.So I would think twice before hiring and trusting this guy to prepare your taxes. He is incompetant, extremely rude, inept and unprofessional. He does not do the right thing by his clients. He will leave you out to dry if something goes awry. That is for sure! Beware ☠️

I have been using Lou's services for many years, until NOW! I never had an issue with him or his staff until this year. It's very difficult to get an appointment with Lou, so I scheduled it in New Jersey with Chris. I had paid my taxes before the April 15th deadline and the check was cashed. An addendum was filed a few days after I had my taxes done ( have no idea why) and THEN, on June 26th an addendum was issued and the same amount that I had paid to the IRS was taken out AGAIN on June 26th. I called the office and was informed that the office was closed for the whole month of JULY, so I called on August 8th to discuss this with Lou. I had emailed him 4 times and called this office and left several message, and NEVER received any response. So, today Sept. 29th I called the IRS and was told that the addendum WAS still pending and it could take up to 20 weeks for me to get my refund back. Lou's office never apologized to me or acknowledged that it was his office's mistake!!!!

The person who prepared my father’s taxes had no access to previous returns before. This seems like someone who is not an accountant is practicing without a license. Usually he would pay but this time said he had a refund. I asked them to compare but Refused to look at it. While my father was dying from cancer I found remaining documents and asked them to file an amendment they refused. He should be reported for malpractice if not already.

I've been using CPA Advisors many years (probably over 25 years) and am extremely happy with the quality of the service they provide. Lou Cannizzaro and the team are the best and having them do my fiilings takes a huge load off my chest because I know it will be done right. Here's the kicker, I don't even live in SI and because I have so much confidence in them, I work with them remotely or on a couple of oacassions have traveled from Manhattan to bring documents or work with them directly. The funny thing is that I used to live directly across the street from a similar tax accountant service but still chose to work with CPA instead of just walking across the street.

Lou is amazing! He has a wonderful bedside manner, treated me like family and really understands the laws to perfection. if anyone can help its LOU!! Would highly recommend Lou for all of your tax and financial planning needs.

Myself and my entire family have been filing our taxes with CPA Advisory for over 20 years! Lou Cannizzaro and his staff are very professional, knowledgeable, and responsive to any questions or concerns I may have. After filing my taxes, I receive my refund quickly. Definitely worth the wait!

Lou Cannizarro never fished the job. He told us we owed $4K to the state of NJ, turns out we had to send in a tax return to the city of Phila. All he had to do was say he didn't know how to do Philly taxes. Instead he was not responsive, and when I call him on his cell phone because he was recommended to me from one of HIS friends. He talked in circles and eventually told me to go f*** myself. Real class act. I would not recommend, he is garbage human being and an even worse businessman. Despicable and unprofessional.

Wish I could leave zero stars. Lou Cannizzaro is incredibly unprofessional. If you work in Philadelphia go elsewhere, as he's not knowledgeable enough and almost cost us a few thousand dollars. Then when told about it, he took forever to answer emails and couldn't be bothered to finish our tax returns adequately. He's looking to get as many people in and out as he can...15 minute appointments! This is careless tax preparation at best. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
