Great customer service. I've never seen the front of the store so I don't know the full breadth of what they carry.

They might be interesting folks but if you are my kind and you want services from businesses in Staten Island, NYC you might want to avoid this merchant. I went in to this establishment with my brother to buy a motorized stairs lift for my aging parents who still live in this borough. Even though, my brother had gone into this establishment a few days before to inquire, and even though we had shown them that we were serious about spending $3000 for this equipment, they clearly bypassed us as clients. On the second visit, I went in to this establishment with my brother and you could feel their tension and apprehension when we started asking questions about the equipment and looking at other related merchandise. Perhaps they assume we could no't afford it, perhaps they were suspicious and thought we were up to something, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps. You have to perhaps these things. This whole social dance is well known to all of us. The funny thing is that I traveled through out the whole south and lived in the south and never experienced this kind of dance until coming to S.I, NYC. It's not the first time it has happened to us in S.I. either. The merchant did not even bother to call us as promised so that he can come to the house to make the measurements. But, we knew this was going to happen as soon as we saw the merchant leave his store and mount his parked car as I and my brother were about to pull out in our car. The thing that had attracted us to this establishment was their claim that they were founded by veterans since we have air force and navy veterans in our own family.Several days later, another merchant with more respect for the color green accepted our money and installed the equipment. This merchant gets one star for allowing us to enter the establishment-not that they would care I think.

I traveled to SI from Brooklyn today looking for a Pride Mobility Reclining Chair. Charles Pfeiffer was recommended as the best place to view and purchase the product. I was greeted by Glen when I entered the store and he immediately showed me what was on display explaining the details and differences between the chairs. He also offered to get a specific size I was interested in from his warehouse if I wanted to come back tomorrow to try it out. It was at this point that I discovered the store does not service the Brooklyn Area due to time constraints and staffing. I was extremely disappointed. But Glen proceeded to call his company rep to get a reliable location for me to try in Brooklyn. He continued to answer my questions and make suggestions while we waited for the rep to call back. I am truly disappointed that I was unable to purchase the chair from Glen as I am sure his store would be reliable and helpful if there were issues with the chair in the future. I want to thank Glen and his staff for their assistance and recommend Charles Pfeiffer for any of your medical supply needs if you live in Staten Island. Thanks again for your help!

While they are nice people, they no longer are a GHI Emblen Health participant.

They were very helpful and accommodating in the delivery and installation of my grandmother's stairlift. Any questions she had after the installation they had the answers and even stopped by her house to show her what to do in person if she didn't understand. Very professional and helpful.

I would drive by Charles Pfeiffer and notice it, and to be honest, hope I would never have need of the products that they sold. Today I needed to get a medical safety device for my mom. I looked online but found so many things and I did not have a base knowledge of what would be best for my mom. So I went to Charles Pfeiffer on Jewett Ave. Am I glad that I did. The owners were very knowledgeable about their products. They asked me a few questions about my moms needs and came up with a few recommended products. After a quick review, I picked the one best suited for mom. The price was reasonable and the owners even gave me a discount coupon. Bottom line: I was happy I made a good choice, and most importantly, mom is very safe and happy. Thank you Charles Pfeiffer. TM

I had to get some medical items for my elderly mother. I went to Charles Pfeiffer to see what they had. I got such great advice and help from Glenn and Tara. They asked questions and made suggestions. They really helped me get what I needed and weren't pushy at all. I would highly recommend them to all my friends. I will buy anything else I need from them.
