Dr Astarbi was my vet for over 10 years. I had four dogs at one time and he took care of all of them. Of the 4 , two were put to sleep comfortably in my house surrounded by those who loved them. He is very professional, always gave me a call back and a lot of advice over the phone. I had one dog with Addisons disease. He took care of Bella until she passed away at a ripe old age of 15, usually adisonian dogs don’t live that long. She didn’t have many episodes but when she did Dr Astarbi helped her get back on track. I miss my girl Bella and my boy Giacomo so much. I moved to Florida and he sent me my dogs records. I miss him and Steve. I cannot find and caring vets here, what a shame. Dr Asarbi is very down to earth ,funny, personable and honest and always gave me good advice. I would get my dogs teeth cleaned every year with dr astarbi. Not one problem at all. I wish I could find someone here on the same caliber but I cannot. Dr Astarbi is highly recommended, you won’t regret having him as your long term vet. I hope you are going well, trinket and pia say hello!

Dr. Astarbi is the best veterinarian out there. I’ve had 4 pets treated by him thus far and each one he treats with such love and care. He is an animal lover at heart and his care for my pets have shown that. He only ever wants to help animals and would never treat your pets like they have done at previous animal hospitals I have visited. As long as he is around, he is the only vet I would ever use.

Dr. Astarbi is a great veterinarian. He is knowledgeable, reasonable, affordable, very patient with nervous animals, at the convenience of your own home, so that your pet doesn't feel even more anxious in the clinic. Doctor Pete has everything needed in the mobile van, including supplies and medications, the tests are done on the spot. Convenient payment options. The doctor follows up with phone calls and emails. We've been with this vet for almost 6 years and there was never any concerns or complains. Highly recommend!

The best! A life savor for our very large dog who is unable to get into a car to make it to the traditional vet. Very knowledgeable, reasonable, and affordable. Wish we knew about Dr. Astarbi sooner!

This veterinarian is my first choice to call for my dog but you should know that he is not available for emergency services. He can provide complete care including surgical procedures but all appointments are scheduled weeks in advance because he can only see a limited number of patients daily. The most important reason I recommend him is that he is more than willing to answer as many questions as you have without being in a rush or impatient as I have experienced with many veterinarians in their clinics. He doesn't overbook and then limit the amount of time he spends observing and examining your pet as needed. This has proven to be extremely important for our severely allergic dog that never received the proper diagnosis or treatment from multiple previous veterinarians. Dr. Astarbi has demonstrated the knowledge, experience, and the patience to finally help our dog to live a much better life.

This is heartwrenching....used him and trusted him for 13yrs....my Oreo was in distresses and wouldn't even return a call. I begged for a call back and explained she was dying to be told to take her to a 24/7 vet. So I had to euthanize her with a stranger. He should never practice medecineagsin

I have used Dr Astarbi for years he took care of my Boston Terrier and my English/Bull mastiff who I went thru 2or 3 vets with his size was a problem but Dr Astarbi was great with him honest and very friendly even the dogs loved him his prices were basically the same as a regular vet office but he came to my house his helpers.were.great also I always felt my dogs were well taken care taken care of

Dr Astarbi is professional and kind and charges reasonable prices.......AND comes to your house, can you ask for more?? He's a wonderful warm person who will be caring to your pet. He's seen my Yorkie and I am very lucky to have found such a wonderful vet.
