My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Stamford Gables B&B on our way to Cooperstown. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The choices for breakfast were unbelievable and delicious. Jean and Jim were the perfect hosts and were so knowledgeable of the area that they were able to direct us to places to eat and visit and were spot on with their directions. If ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here.

Lovely accommodations and the hospitality were amazing. Breakfast was delicious and they had everything we asked for. The room was beautiful and I had a great sleep. I'd go back for sure!

What a wonderful place! The rooms were beautiful, the location was perfect, and the owners were really fantastic!They were able to accommodate a last-minute booking, they communicated quickly and effectively, and made sure everything was in order.The breakfast was really awesome, everything was fresh and delicious.It was a pleasure to meet the family that runs it and hear about their experiences.I would highly recommend it!

Stayed 4 nights in the Hattie room. Jean and Jim are some of the nicest people I've ever met. And Jean makes an amazing breakfast. Plus fresh baked cookies every day. If you want a quiet relaxing vacation I would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here for two nights to attend a wedding. Jean, Jim and Julie (did I get that right ?), were amazing hosts. Welcoming, gracious and wonderful. Delicious breakfast both days. Spacious, clean rooms. Definitely the place to stay in Stamford. Good luck the rest of the season.

What a lovely B & B. Close to Hobart, NY the Booktown that is so darn cute.Jean was awesome. Took good care of us and made the most delicious Stuffed French Toast and omelette. Very relaxing.LOVED the bathroom in the Churchill room.We'd stayed there again most definitely.

I LOVE this BandB. The rooms are simply beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and quiet. My bed was probably the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The bathroom was very large with its own dressing room and large tiled shower. The entire place is immaculate. Breakfast is made to order. The hosts/owners could not be nicer or more helpful. I highly recommend it to,anyone who goes up to Delaware County. Just fabulous!

This was my second stay at Stamford Gables B&B and it was just as wonderful as my first stay with Jean and Jim. The space is cozy, clean and decorated beautifully. The hosts are so friendly and knowledgeable about the area and obviously care deeply for their home, which they graciously share with others. I truly appreciate their hospitality and really enjoyed having breakfast (which is always delicious!) and chatting with them. I'm sure I'll return.

Couldn't ask for a better place and better hosts (Jean & Jim) than at Stamford Gables! Very charming spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast and very knowledgeable hosts of the area. Every recommendation for eating was great and even got to enjoy Jim's singing and guitar playing at a local eatery.
