About Queens Public Library at St.Albans
Queens Public Library at St. Albans is a small neighborhood library that holds a special place in the community. It is often described as peaceful, quiet, and clean, making it a welcoming space for reading and studying. Many visitors have fond memories of coming here as children, using the library to finish school assignments and enjoy drawing with family members. As an adult, some find it a good place to sit and read, although recent visits have raised concerns about inconsistent hours and whether the library is open, as doors have been observed closed despite posted hours and lights on inside. The staff generally maintain a courteous and professional attitude, and some are notably friendly and helpful. However, there are mixed opinions about staff behavior, with some customers feeling that certain staff members lack friendliness and do not greet visitors properly. The library offers basic services such as computer use, with recent increases in computer time, and the ability to print and borrow books and movies. Some improvements have been suggested, including more charging slots for devices, additional toilets, and better maintenance of equipment like the print, scan, and copy machines, which have been out of service for some time. Overall, the library is appreciated as a community resource, though there are areas for enhancement.

There's one particular staff that's not very friendly and seem to always have an attitude. She often sits in the center. The lady in the corner to the right is very helpful and has a friendly approach though.
