Whenever they put stores in black neighborhoods, they don't think that we deserve customer service. So Matthew at the customer service desk today informed me that there are no workers in the Bakery so I wouldn't be able to order a cake today. I immediately requested a supervisor. He got on the phone and then told me that the supervisor said I should come back at 5pm. I got there at 3:21pm. I explained to him that both my time and the gas I used to drive there is very valuable and again requested to speak with a supervisor. After much ado a young female arrived April Alaba and informed me that people called out and the bakery isn't her department, she works the front, she doesn't know anything about bakery and I'd in fact have to come back at 5pm as no one in the entire supermarket would be able to take my order. No apologies, no care in the world. I was doing my brother a favor by attemting to order this cake. This has never been my supermarket of choice and after thus experience, I definitely won't be returning. I will find somewhere else and I will definitely be reporting to corporate.

This Stop and Shop is open late mostly until midnight. In the night its pretty much empty and can shop in peace. I always go after 9:30 PM. The staff is very helpful. There is a Starbucks but I believe they close at 8 or 9 PM. Great for quick pick me ups for snacks as well.

Can someone explain to me why the bottle redeem machine is always broken at this location and I can’t redeem the store water bottles. When buying I always have to pay for the deposit. How about you guys stop this scam.
