7AM - 11PM
13635 Springfield Blvd, Springfield Gardens“If you are looking for fresh fruits, milk, cold cuts, and vegetables, this is the place to buy them. Let's not forget the staff who are helpful and friendly.”
“Store was very clean and organized. Employees were most helpful. The owner introduced himself and personally helped me. Excellent butcher but Most importantly, the prices were good.”
“The best food in the world. It's been 2 years since I last ate here... it's 2 am here in tampa and I'm trying to come up with a way to get a dish brought to me here... but how? ..... I love this food so much”
“Very friendly and kind. Quality foods and all organic. Be mindful of the time of day you go, they run out fast. My favorite place to get organic produce and drinks.”
“Love the food so far and still sampling more items on each visit. The many different sauces are amazing and go very well with the kebabs. It's so nice to finally have a place on Long Island that serves shawarma. The service is fantastic as well in that they're all so welcoming and nice. Highly recommended!”
“After hearing so much about this spot, was treated by a friend to some vegetarian momos, veggie samosas, and a mango lassi. I’ve had momos once before and didn’t enjoy, but these definitely changed my view for the better. I was hooked on the peanut orange sauce and spicy red sauce that came with them; use with caution if you’re sensitive to heat like myself. The samosa was amazing and I enjoyed the crispy flavor of the shell with the sweet sauce. I never had such a filling, thick mango lassi before— will be my go-to drink going forward here. The woman behind the cashier that also worked on preparing the food was super sweet and patient with ordering. Will be back again to try the paratha cheesy momo wrap and paratha breakfast wrap!”
“I walked into the store when they first opened their doors and had the pleasure of meeting Dhira, the new store owner! So helpful and knowledgeable about products and totally not a pushy salesman! Have met two other young men that work there and they too were so helpful and knowledgeable! The thing I find most impressive is that they always remember me when I walk in and I have always been greeted with a smile upon my entry! Loyal customer forever! Thank you! ?”
10AM - 9PM
72-50 Austin St, Queens“This place has all the goodies and staples u need and at an affordable price! Their hot food is my favorite, onigiri and lunch portions of mango salmon and rice. You really can’t go wrong especially if you know what you are looking for.”
“This little gem, exemplifies the expression, “it’s not the size of the dog in fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog!”A great resource chock-a-block with goodies up to the rafters. Well stocked, with a wide variety of all things healthy. Including the new, & trendier items as well as the old “health nut” standbys my parents loved.Impeccably clean, a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Years ago, this is the kind of place that you would find elsewhere and only wished that they open shop in Forest Hills”
11AM - 8:30PM
111-08 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills“Super friendly associates and a solid selection. The most surprising part? GREAT PRICES!! There's another Asian market a few blocks away (heck, maybe there's several but I for sure know there's one) and the prices at Tokyo Market not only beat them out, but they're cheap for an AM in general. Definitely a wonderful surprise in the otherwise-expensivd area of Forest Hills/Austin Street (adjacent). Absolutely recommend! They're not a megastore but they'll have lots of what you need.”
“Small but very nice Japanese grocery. I bought a bento and it was very good, bought some miso, mushrooms, dashi and other items. It was reasonable. The cashier was very helpful.”
“The parking lot is always insane and the store is smaller than other Trader Joe's locations, but it's still a great store. The store may be small but I have yet to come up short of the products I'm looking for when shopping there.”
“Hey super kool Dominican store they don t have the old Bodega stores I grew up in sandwiches and food great. The food prepare G is excellent in making food much respect”
“The variety and quantity of fresh vegetables, tubers and fruits is phenomenal. They turn their inventory over very frequently so everything is absolutely freshest you'll find.We have scheduled going to trader Joe's on a weekly basis just to pick up fruits, vegetables and fresh stuff.Folks are working or very friendly. You can talk to him, but don't forget they're working and they're good at what they do.We have switched our allegiance from trader Joe's on metropolitan new woodhaven boulevard to trader Joe's or just off Queens boulevard and Yellowstone boulevard. It has a great great variety. More so than the metropolitan avenue store. After all, it's a lot bigger.Very very highly recommended!”
“Love this place. Always stocked nicely produce is not abundant but has important things. Prices always great and employees very friendly. Meats are very expensive but not really what I buy. Feels like everything is healthy to eat.”
“Friendly, significant delays with opening time on several occasions, but great service, lowest prices I know of for african items, vast variety of produce in stock.”
9AM - 11PM
167-15 Hillside Avenue 1st FL, Queens“The food is outstanding. The atmosphere is great, quiet, and peaceful. The workers are very kind hearted. They are always smiling and the behaviour of each employees is nice. There are different sorts of foods. They have many vegetarian options as well. You will never know how great this place is if you don’t try it yourself. The appetizers are very good over here as well. When I tried the appetizers at this place, it was better than many of the other places I have tried. I became speechless after trying the food at this restaurant. The atmosphere is clean compared to other restaurants. There are many more things I would like to say about this restaurant but words can’t express how great this restaurant is.
Kid-friendliness: They love when kids come to this restaurant.”
“I love this place! We buy our prosciutto here once a month and I love browsing the aisles while waiting because there’s so much to look at and buy! The proprietors are lovely and patient + their coffee is AMAZING.I was broken-hearted when Cheese of The World closed on Austin Street after 50+ years. It was one of my favorite places to stop in and I learned so much about cheese and gourmet food from shopping there and chatting up the staff. Cipollina is filling their spot in my heart.”
“This is a fantastic local kosher supermarket, offering all kosher products found elsewhere. The store is a pleasure to shop at, with helpful staff, clean and bright store with never having to wait long (if at all) for checkout lines. The prices are generally very reasonable and their sales are great. They also have a lot for free parking.Parking lot is now re-paved!”
“The store is very unique, the place is not big, but I can find what I need at a glance. The price is similar to other stores, which feels good and convenient for everyone.”
“I bought a bag of frozen panelle and made them for dinner last night. They were absolutely fabulous, imported from Sicily and very authentic tasting. I served them in between bread, with a squeeze of lemon on top. My whole family was very satisfied with dinner. My kids also love their imported Italian peach iced tea, which I bought there. It was definitively worth the trip into Queens to buy them!”
“I like how it is a small store. Everything is easy to reach and pick up and buy everything you want in just 15 minutes max ?The prices are so good tooComparig by big supermarkets you spend an hour or more and you buy extra stuff and go home without byuing what you looking for ?☀️As advice, some fruits and vegetables most to use it the same day, not for stocking up”
6:30AM - 11PM
666 Woodward Ave, Ridgewood“They carry a lot of middle eastern ingredients plus normal groceries items. vegetables and fruits are fresh. there is a butcher shop with good prices on halal lamb”
“This is a grocery store that not only provides daily necessities, but also cooked food, salads, bread and other items. There are also free parking spaces on the roadside at the door.”
“This place is the BEST. The best fruit and veggies, great small meat section, top quality cold cuts, and they have everything! A friendly crew that is always helpful.”
“I go here to get my meats when I need to cook for a function, I clean it up and haven't had an issue in 2.5 years of business.I also personally buy here for my home as well”
“I found this treasure of a place yesterday after a job in Cendarhurst. The rugelach are out of this world. I may have to take a trip back there just to get some more.”
“Great place for shopping in the area and prices are great. I wouldn't suggest shopping for fruit and vegetables,it's not always so fresh and doesn't stay for long”
8AM - 10PM
148-11 175th St, Queens“This place is amazing. I just had the garlic-butter shrimp with fried rice and it’s *chef’s kiss*. I love that they make everything fresh, definitely worth the wait.”
“I walked in this deli and what I heard was music to my ears. Latino music to be kinda specific. It brings me back to growing up in the 90s and I early 2000 when most of the bodegas in my neighborhood of BedStuy were spanish. There was nothing like going to school and smelling that bacon cooking as you passed the store. Times have changed and now it's hard to find pork products in bodegas. My last 700 bacon egg and cheeses have had beef bacon and I've settled for it. But today I had a BLT with extra bacon and baby, he made that sandwich. And it was cheaper than what I usually pay. Only thing I can say is I wish they were open 24/7 because they are closed when I come to work in the early early morning hours”
