This was the greatest golf experience our family has ever had. We were visiting from Chicago on our kids Cooperstown tournament and decided to golf here. Previous to beginning our round, we met the highlight of our round. This was the owner nicknamed “pork chop”. Pork chop told our kids stories and history lessons about the historic course. He is truely a legend. This courses views and landscapes were truely spectacular. This was our favorite course we have ever experienced. The views were amazing, the food was amazing, and especially pork chop was amazing. 5 Stars.

Visited this course while on vacation in mid April before they were technically open. Called ahead and the manager, nick named pork chop, answered the phone and welcomed us with our two kids. He was amazing. Let us play the course for just a donation, gave the kids a history lesson, and a souvenir. This is a beautiful track with some holes right on the lake, and is mostly flat & easy to walk. And tons of history..

I’ve played this course for years, as a local I really enjoy playing here, it’s got great character and potential. This review is solely based on the people who run/work the course. Golf etiquette is a thing something missing here. I appreciate wanting to roll the greens but when you already have golfers on the course with a noisy loud roller, you do not stay on the same hole or even the one right next to them. If you’re blowing the greens off, I applaud you and appreciate it, but do not appreciate you staring at me with the blower still on while I’m making a shot. Lastly, if your standard rate is going to be for 18 holes let me know that so I play 18 or let you know I didn’t play 18 for that to be credited on my next round. Unfortunately, for the rest of this year I won’t be back solely due to the lack of etiquette.

Played OGC 3 weeks ago and loved it. I've played this a number of times over the past 40 years, and it is now in the best shape I've ever seen. Porkchop and his team have done a wonderful job with the greens (really, everywhere). The clubhouse is great and the bar's beer selection is outstanding. This may be a 9 hole track (very different tees for 2nd nine though); but it's great. If you are in the area, check this place out!

Was an awesome golf experience at one of the oldest golf courses in the US. Our host Jeff greeted us with a smile and began to give us a history lesson about the people and the course in Otsego, NY. This 9 hole course offers 2 sets of tees to make for a interesting round. Even though we shot bogey+ we had a good time. We even took in a few beers and lunch.

Very nice 1894 antique 9 hole course. Plenty long, which was a nice surprise. Greens we’re in excellent shape. Beautiful setting. I’d like to come back and play it again!

We ways travel with our Sunday golf bags, and on this Sunday near Cooperstown, we were lucky to have them! The golf course is a gem on the lake. Greens were well taken care of, nice mix of waterfront and woodlands. There's a few to die for from hole #6/15! Bring your clubs if your coming for a weekend! A beer on the porch (what a view!) after 9 or 18 will be your reward!

A gem of a golf course in a bucolic setting. Friendly pro shop and very affordable. A shame it's only 9 holes. The course is in the best shape it's ever been. A must play course if you're in the Cooperstown area
