“I'm going to edit my review of north fork auto repair. George informed me of urgent medical issues he was dealing with and was unable to keep his appointment with me. He subsequently came and addressed the issues I was having with my car. I was wrong in assuming it was the shift cable.
He does in fact care about his customers. I will certainly recommend this business for your automotive needs.”

“Good gas prices pumped by attendant at no extra charge. My favorite gas station on Northfork as gas is pumped for me and I am physically handicapped at this time. Masks worn by attendants and I have known the gas attendant for over 14 years and he checked my oil as my engine red light was on and put in the needed 2 quarts of oil and my engine light went off when I left the station. I was very grateful for his help. Open 7 days a week and late. Gas prices competitive with Riverhead prices which are the lowest out here but this station in Mattituck on Main Road is best for my needs and gas stations this far east on the northfork are all self-serve with the exception of this station and one other smaller non Gulf station in Cutchogue, but I prefer Gulf gas. Best price for cash and best service ?”
“Greenport Tire at Empire Service station saved the day for us! While driving to the ferry at Orient Point, we hit some kind of sharp metal object on the road which caused an immediate flat tire. We were able to pull over and safely put on a spare and saw that Greenport Tire was just 1 mile away. We ventured over and spoke with the tire serviceman. He dropped what he was doing to help us. He inspected the damaged tire and felt it was repairable. After it was fixed and checked to see if it would hold pressure, he removed the spare and installed the repaired tire. We were back on the road in about 30 minutes. The charge was a modest $30, and we gave him a nice tip. We had a long drive back to NH, and I was relieved to do not have to do it on a spare tire. These guys saved our day#ThankYouThursday”
