We had an extremely rude, abusive and inconsiderate treatment by the front desk worker in this store-unlike anything we have ever experienced.
My wife and I were treated like absolute garbage.
We went to return an item, waited an inordinate time while the worker did nothing but just make us wait. We then were very polite to the individual.
The worker intentionally made my wife and I wait and then he asked us for money for a little piece of tape.
To put it bluntly, the worker was rude, abusive, inconsiderate and not customer service-oriented and then attempted to extort us for a small piece of tape.
We will be making this report to UPS Corporate m as well.
We were courteous and respectful and the man at the counter was simply looking to cause trouble with a horrible attitude and demeanor.
You could just see he has a big chip on his shoulder.
I would be very careful dealing with this location vs. others.

When I called the women who answered was very snippy that I was bothering her with basic questions. I was told by other staff to pick up yesterday after 1, but both times not there. Maybe a new driver..
Just needed answers, not attitude! Jeeze

Woman who works there is so rude . I’ve never been treated like this in any other store ! The kids who work there on the other hand are super friendly and helpful .

Really bad service by the owner. DO NOT GET A BOX HERE. THey will lose your mail, and blame you for it.

owner is verbally abusive, loses mail, then threatens to take your mailbox away for "causing her problems". do not recommend getting a mailbox at this location

All staff are great except one girl who works there. She's rude and a little aggressive. If she hates her job and doesn't like helping people, she should find another job.Store is clean and organized, and thankful for the kind and helpful employees.

My wife went to ship a childs backpack from Southampton to Park City, Utah. It weighed 2.6 lbs and they tried to charge her $279 for overnight air. Not priority. She then asked how much for Ground was was told $129 which is absurd. On the UPS website it says 2nd day air should cost $64.99 and next day air is $119. I have no idea what kind of scam they were trying to pull but I guess if you're shipping from 11968 you gotta be rich, right? She then went to the Post Office and sent it "Priority" for $21.99. No idea if that is ground or air but it took 3 business days. Regardless, awful look for our local UPS Store. Go to Post Office or Dunkerly's.

Marianne and her crew are WONDERFUL.I faced a potential nightmare--of my own making, per usual--shipping household items of various shape/size/weight to my out-of-state residence. Marianne advised me re potential cost vis-a-vis usefulness of some of the items. So, I ended up with what my wife and I need for our home; the extra items will be used by my relatives or donated to good causes.Marianne is professional, patient, and very sympathetic to customers like myself who have difficulty making decisions. She never rushed me--the new store space is definitely beneficial. UPS made a good decision to expand its Southampton location, with Marianne in charge!

I was getting some wine delivered, and rather than take a chance on missing the delivery at home, I took the shipper up on the option for me to pick it up at the UPS store. I paid the UPS delivery charges ($10). When I picked it up, less than 24 hours after it was delivered, I was charged, by UPS, a storage fee. It was $15 for 6 bottles of wine. When I said I thought the charge was unfair, and I planned to take it up with UPS, the clerks said "we have nothing to do with UPS." They explained that they are independent franchise. So keep in mind (1) the UPS Store has nothing to do with UPS, and (2) if you pick up your package there, be prepared to pay a storage fee in addition to shipping fees.

Used this store frequently during COVID lockdown and always has good experiences. Today I brought in a large document to be scanned (for my son) and they had the audacity to charge $5 for the first page and $1 for every page after. It’s a 50 page document and it literally would have been cheaper to send it overnight. Just awful considering it costs them the same to scan 1 page or 100. Went to Dunkerly’s and they did it for $0.10 per page.
