I have shopped at Hildreth’s many times for gifts and home decor. This week I went in looking for a large media cabinet and area rug and had the most wonderful experience. The in house decorator, Colleen, was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I found a beautiful, solid wood, high quality piece for my space at a very fair price. I also was able to take home many rug samples to choose from their lovely collection. Colleen immediately arranged for delivery the next day with their own delivery service and I couldn’t be happier with the result. This was a much more personal and easy shopping experience than I’ve ever had at any furniture store. I will surely return!

The moment I first stepped into Hildreth's Department Store in South Hampton, I felt right at home. It's like taking a step back in time, yet with all the modern amenities, one desires. The friendly, personable service, up-to-date, fabulous product and warm atmosphere makes this store a real pleasure to shop in. I decorated most of our new home with their merchandise, thanks to Colleen the owners wife, who manages the store impeccably. She is a delight to work with. Hildreth's has everything you need for your home under one roof. A number one destination to put on your list. I love this iconic store .

Hildreth in SOUTHAMPTON is one stop shopping for your entire home. From very young to very old there's something. The best decor and home accessories on all the Long Island Coleen is the owner and she is unbelievable to work with. I recommend shopping here. Whether you are looking for a gift for someone, or looking to decorate your entire house, to luxurious bedding and beyond. Hildreth is amazing

My all time favorite store ! I have been coming to this store for many years. I buy kitchen supplies, candles, toys, Christmas decor and furniture! I'm always treated so nicely by everyone in the store. Everyone is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I have furnished 3 homes from Hildtreths, Southampton. I've gotten great help with Karla their designer and Coleen Hildreth. I have bought furniture from the store and also on their endless selection on line. They helped me with accessories, paint, window treatments and wallpaper.The last home I furnished was with them and we did it completely on line - such a fantastic job! Everyone loves the way my home came together. Mrs. Hildreth also helped me with delivery of all the furniture to Westchester NY. Hildreths is a fantastic store run by lovely people.

Best service, selection and value in the Hamptons. Special ordered bedding and my salesperson was super helpful. Got the best value too as it was on sale, better pricing than online or department stores. Always find hostess gifts and unique decorative items in store. Also love their outdoor furniture! Hildreth's is a Warren of interesting house goods, linen store and furniture store. There are many rooms and ears upstairs in addition to the first floor. The amount of merchandise is staggering and the quality seems great. Would be a great place to set up a home in Southampton and the western part of the Hamptons in general. If you're in the Hamptons and need almost any array of home goods or even seasonal beach gear, this would be a great place to visit.

I've always loved Hildreth's! It's such a very iconic Hamptons store. Anything you need for your beach house can be found here, from exquisite linens to pool floaties. I was in search of a daybed cover that my mother had seen online, but alas, it's only available online or by order. The very gracious sales lady suggested a lovely quilt, but alas the daybed has a high, upholstered back. We would have to fold a quilt in half lengthwise. After some consideration, I bought a pool floatie instead. There were some gorgeous Matouk bed linens, but I definitely do not need more sheets!

Hildreth's is a charming department store stocked with a variety of things you never knew you needed. From kitchen tools to sewing supplies, a huge children's section and an entire floor of home furnishings, there are items at a variety of price points. Window displays are eye-catching and displays in the store are attractive. Staff is friendly.

We purchased a bed for 2,600. We attempted to put it together and found the wrong screws and no holes where there were supposed to be etc. We put it together and it collapsed as soon I sat on it and it badly bruised my husbands foot. We then paid a professional to put it together for us he had to purchase the correct screws etc. We then had it for one week, we leaned against the headboard and the whole back came out! and then we saw it had merely been stapled together! We called the store and tried to tell the owner what happened and she screamed at us and hung up the phone! We are in utter shock and disbelief!
