At this gas station they take advantage of unsuspecting people who do not speak English, they do not give you the value of what you pay for gasoline, they give less and act oblivious, which translates into abuse with people who trust in honesty that characterizes the Hamptons.

So, I genuinely liked Cumberland Farms gas station, I come here all the way from Amagansett on a regular basis. When I came today the door was semi-locked & it was around 8pm, I went ahead and pumped my gas at the pump with a credit card and then I saw the worker collecting trash outside. I waited a bit and then I went to the door, it was locked strangely from the top part. No other workers. I get back in my car and I pull up beside the worker and I ask him "what time do you close today sir?" He initially ignores me and I repeat because he has loud music playing, I assumed maybe the station is closing early for some other reason. He responds back "We're closed now" and continues to listen to music. What does that mean? I'm thinking what do you mean the store doesn't close to midnight. I say "when do you close?" He says, "it varies", I then say, "today", and he says "we're closed now" and starts to walk away... not I'm on break, I had to take out trash, or I'll be with you shortly. All I got was a rude, overworked, lazy employee who couldn't care less ?I'm trying to turn-the-other cheek & all, but why do this? It's YOUR job.Now, watch the short video I posted on the photo section... listen to the music in the background that this man is listening to in this public gas station on all his shifts. This is professional/appropriate?? ? As the employee was collecting the trash he was also listening to the music, I have no issue with that in general, my issue is with professionalism. Just because you work at the gas station does not mean you do not need to treat everyone respectfully and like the customer actually matters, the customer ALWAYS matters. It's unfortunate for me because there's not that many gas stations around here ? Cumberland Farms will be getting far less of my money! And anyone else's if I can assist. There's 2 other gas stations near/on the same corner in Southhampton ?

Pretty Disturbing!! to find BROKEN GLASS at the base of the case my beers came in not sure what the folk over there are thinking because they obviously are not. RED FLAG
