The place is clean and organized, but I will change the location of the flowers and plants because they are too close to the buffet area and food aroma combines with the food, which I don't think is ideal

Amazing market just did a walk through with my son .Too bad it was AFTER our lunch because you can eat in at the counter at the window on town. What they don't have you don't need. Meat, produce,cheese and dairy,bread and baked goods , ready made take home, condiments ,sauces deli counter.Viva Italia.

I must have different taste buds than most people. I went in there just to get some bread, I usually don't eat during the day, a loaf of French bread and 2 dinner rolls. I couldn't finish any of them. All 3 had a weird taste. The taste had a chemical note to it. Not sure I ever want to try the food since they can't even get the bread right. I really don't understand. So I am checking it up to my taste buds, so please try it for yourself. Everybody I talk to says they love it.

Citarella is a very unique grocery store with many unexpected finds. If you are ever searching for purple yams, they have it! The prices can be a little high though.

This is the most expensive place to go shopping on Long Island for food. But their food is top quality. When it comes to bakery no other place can match it it's like having a fresh bakery in the supermarket. Their meat section has everything from dry aged to antelope. If you want it they probably have it in some form. I like going here for their lunch it's 1199 a pound and I normally end up taking a pound and a half of food. Expensive but it is very delicious.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I thought everything would be unjustly overpriced and the food wouldn't taste good. I was lured in here because I saw a woman walking on the street eating a delicious looking slice of pizza with vegetables. When I arrived at the pizza counter, everything did look good and there was a large variety. I ordered a regular pizza and also bought a baguette. The pizza was really good. The bread was warm and fresh. I have returned since the first visit and tried their hot food buffet. The buffet food was good enough to satisfy, although definitely not gourmet since it is buffet. I also had their madeleine cookies which was $12 for a box of four. This was a bit steep and I only wanted one cookie. But it did turn out to taste good so I saved the rest. The one thing about this place is I saw a lot of items without prices. It would take extra effort to track down someone and ask the price so I usually just braced myself at the register when paying. My suggestion is for them to post all prices to avoid any surprises.
