“80+ person garden wedding - this is the place to have it. And think of booking the Fountain Inn next door for sleeping, hosting rehearsal event, bride dressing activity... Your wedding guests will love the day, you'll love the venue and the pictures are the best. Hosted wedding in June 2022”

21 Governor St, Ridgefield“Excellent place for your kids to learn fencing for all ages and levels. I have 3 kids fencing and they look forward to their class and lessons. The coaches (Mike and Alberto) are both awesome! They identify and set goals for each individual needs in a comfortable environment. The facility is bright and spacious and kept clean. Highly recommend it!”

633 Old Post Rd, Bedford“It was an odd experience. The theatre was both intimate and immaculate. They closed the cafe early the day we arrived and were strict about having outside refreshments. But something about the overall presentation brings it together. Like it belongs in Stars Hollows from Gilmore Girls.”
“The Bartlett Arboretum definitely made my day trip to Connecticut more interesting and enjoyable!I was surprised to discover there was a combination of dirt trails along with open green areas, a nice mix between mystery and serenity. There is a bridge over a stream winding its way through the rocks as the birds chirp in the distance. I felt at peace as I was accompanied by my boyfriend and protected by the tree cover. Two neat aspects of this arboretum were the lamb's ear plant and the prehistoric Redwood tree! I never would have thought these interesting living organisms would be at a small Arboretum in Stamford. I truly felt like I was in a special place-- nature in its purest, original form outside of modern day's creation and the chaos that arises from it. If you are a nature lover, or simply looking for a scenic environment to think and experience a sense of peace, come to Bartlett Arboretum!”

65 Sand Pit Rd, Danbury“Everything here was delicious. The service was fast, the place was the cleanliest restaurant i've been in, and the staff was nice accommodating. I loved how fresh and soft the bread was - the freshest and best rolls i've had in my entire life. The espresso here are unmatchable compared to any other i've had. I will without a doubt be back here for my Portuguese food fix.”

70 Southern Blvd, Danbury“I’ve been goi g to Tarrywhile for years. If you like to hike there are plenty of trails. If you want to just go and read a book there is a beautiful mansion with a garden and gazebo and wide open fields. I love hiking around the pond. ”
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this outstanding Italian restaurant, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu showcased a delightful array of authentic Italian dishes, each a masterpiece in its own right. The attention to detail in the preparation was evident in every bite. The flavors were bold and genuine, transporting me straight to the heart of Italy. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauces rich and flavorful, and the ingredients fresh and of the highest quality. Our server was knowledgeable and offered excellent recommendations, ensuring we had a tailored dining experience.”

138 Triangle St, Danbury“I was Senior Vice Commander and my friend was Junior Vice Commander. The year was 1985. Joseph Riccio was the Post Commander. He was "our guy". We ran all the post activities and events back then. We laughed, ate, and drank. Then one day they held a coup. Gulya, and a few of his henchmen wanted Riccio OUT!, so they stuffed the ballot box. At the election meeting, both myself and my buddy, the junior vice, resigned at the underhanded way they did this to a fine long time commander. I guess everything must change eventually, but this was just sleazy. The post today is fine for a few drinks or brews and I can still recommend it, but for me "the thrill is gone".”
10AM - 4PM
75 Pine St, New Canaan“Three different restaurants offers great options. So far (on 2 visits) the salad place is A+ and the Asian shop a B+ Parking is tight and on a nice day it's hopping. I wonder why they close at 4. Given their popularity and reasonable prices they could do a family dinner crowd.”
12 - 9:30PM
592 NY-22, Croton Falls“This is our go-to Valentines spot. It has always been wonderful. The ambiance and the staff are top notch. This year I was disappointed with my meal which was unfortunate since it is a once a year treat. My husband enjoyed his salad and chicken parm, but my calamari was awful (essentially raw and inedible) and my veal dish was delish but the heavy hand on the salt made it impossible to finish. And coming from a salt—aholic, that pretty bad. I made no complaints to staff or hubby as to not bring any negativity to my evening. I did find the $75 fixed menu price to be excessive for an app, main and dessert especially considering that we had to pay extra for coffee? $240 for dinner, one drink, one soda, two coffees and tip-Ouch. Hoping next year will be better.”
“Le Chateau was a dream to work with all throughout our wedding experience. They are so attentive and professional. We had our reception here in July and couldn’t have asked for a better night. My husband and I got to enjoy every minute of the night while the Le Chateau team handled everything. I had a drink in my hand at all times, they made sure to know who our immediate family was so they could be cared for at all times and offered accommodations/substitutions for guests that needed it without being asked. Everyone had nothing but good things to say about the entire night. We couldn’t have been happier.”
